“Mommy, who’s that?”
Raffy came out clutching a toy airplane.
The moment he saw Danielle, his face darkened.
Today, he’d had to apologize to Niki—humiliated in front of the whole school! And now Danielle was showing up at their door? Was she here just to rub it in?
“Get out!” Raffy snapped, shoving Danielle hard. “You’re not welcome here!”
He wasn’t big, but the push was forceful enough. Danielle staggered back two steps, only just catching herself against a column to keep from falling.
She glanced around at the familiar surroundings of what used to be her marital home, the place she’d once called family. Now, it felt like the very spot that hurt her most.
A cold, bitter laugh escaped her lips. How ridiculous it all seemed—this house had been given to her, and yet Alexander allowed them to live here as if she never existed. Was this supposed to be some twisted form of humiliation?
“Ms. Crawford, you and Alex are divorced. Don’t you think it’s inappropriate for you to be here?” Millie leaned against the doorframe, her tone dripping with mockery. “If Alex finds out, he’ll be furious.”
She snorted. “Actually, I’m planning to rip out all the decor and start over. So do us all a favor and stop coming around.”
“If you don’t leave, I’ll have security escort you out.”
Raffy glared at Danielle, feeling wronged after what happened at school. It had been nothing, really, but Danielle had blown things out of proportion. As his biological mother, she should be on his side—after all, he was such a good kid! If he weren’t so polite and well-mannered, Monica should’ve been the one apologizing, not him.
Danielle met Millie’s gaze, her eyes dark and steady.
Millie smirked, watching her stand there in silence.
What, was she so angry she couldn’t even speak?
Danielle nodded toward the scattered documents. “Why don’t you pick those up and see for yourself—whose name is on the deed?”
Millie hesitated, then glanced down. There, clear as day on the papers, was Danielle’s name—signed, sealed, and transferred.
Her face drained of color.
“Do you see now?” Danielle’s voice was eerily calm. “So kindly gather your things and get out of my house. If you don’t, I’ll have security show you the door.”
The calmer Danielle sounded, the more frantic Millie became.
She took a deep breath, fists clenched tight, struggling to keep her composure.
She hadn’t expected karma to come back around and slap her this quickly.

Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
