When Liam thought of the possibility, his expression instantly darkened. If Silvia was truly Iris, he could not spare her!
“Get some people to learn more about Silvia’s martial arts skills.”
“Yes, Mr. Remus.”
After his subordinate left, Liam’s gaze slowly became ruthless.
Over in Remus Residence, Melanie received a phone notification just as she was about to sleep. She had received a message from an unknown number.
She automatically frowned when she saw the message.
[Neil Remus is not your son.]
She sneered. Which psycho sent this message? She had carried Neil in her belly for ten months before delivering him. How could he not be her son?
At that thought, she deleted the message.
Ten minutes later, Jake walked out of the bathroom. He pulled back the blanket and lay next to her.
Following Liam’s incident, their relationship improved a little. Nevertheless, they were still indifferent toward each other.
Jake was about to turn off the light, when Melanie suddenly asked, “Has Remus Corporation offended anyone recently?”
Jake’s eyes shone with surprise. “I haven’t heard anything so far. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. Earlier, some psycho sent me a message saying that Neil wasn’t my son. How funny,” she said casually.
Jake froze for a moment, but Melanie did not notice it.
“Oh yeah, weren’t you going to turn off the light?”
As she spoke, sadness filled her eyes. If Melanie’s son had survived, he would have probably been as capable as Neil.
How unfortunate.
“Mom, I’ll find out who’s playing tricks behind the scenes. If I get my hands on this person, I won’t spare him easily!”
Abalene nodded and did not attempt to stop him.
There was only one person there who could protect the Remus Family!
“Mr. Stark, I’ve asked my people to send Melanie a message. They reminded her that Neil wasn’t her biological son, but she hasn’t responded.”
