The crowd immediately looked at the stage and saw Ada tied up on the ground. Her face was full of shock and fear.
Meanwhile, George was lying unconscious on the ground. The dagger in his hand had fallen a few meters away.
Everyone had no idea what had happened during the blackout.
Suddenly, the banquet hall door swung open with a bang, and Neil walked in coldly.
He hurried up to the stage and kicked the dagger out of the way. Then, he went to Ada’s side.
As soon as he helped her up, he froze.
She was not Silvia Pond!
No one in the crowd dared to speak. After all, they were all involved in forcing Ada to replace that woman earlier. There was no telling if Neil was going to do anything to them.
Curtis and the manager had brought people to escort George directly to the police station. Everyone on the scene was relieved, and they started to leave.
Neil stood up and seriously said, “Curtis, send her to the hospital.”
Helen was also scared out of her wits. When she left, she could not help but glance at Ada, who had fallen unconscious.
Suddenly, she narrowed her eyes.
This woman was not the one from earlier!
They wore very similar gowns, but there was a detail at the waist that was different. One could easily overlook it.
If this unconscious woman was Ada, who was that woman earlier?
What exactly happened during those two minutes of blackout?
The bomb squad quickly dismantled the bombs in and around the hotel. Being George’s target, Neil went to the police station to give his statement.
It was past 11 p.m. by the time he was done.
Curtis rushed forward. “Mr. Remus, it would’ve been impossible for George to do this alone. Someone must have helped him behind the scenes. I’ve already sent someone to investigate this.”
Neil nodded coldly. “Give me a copy of the banquet hall’s surveillance footage.”
