Furthermore, Silvia did not know who Neil was.
Helen glared at her ferociously. However, she smiled back without any fear.
The crowd was still persuading Helen to go on the stage with Silvia. Otherwise, they would all be killed.
Helen sneered because of their selfishness. “No. You can’t make me. Why should I sacrifice my life to save selfish people like you?”
“Since you refuse, we’ll have to use other means, Miss Zimmerman.”
Helen panicked and scolded them, “How dare you! Aren’t you worried about offending my family?”
“Hmph. No one knows whether we’ll survive or not. Why would we care about that?”
“Yeah. Be sensible and get on the stage with Ada. If not, we’ll force you, and you might even get hurt!”
George set off another bomb while the crowd spoke.
Bang!
A pillar in a corner of the hall blew up. The scattered broken pieces hurt a lot of people and triggered endless screams.
The ruined pillar broke Silvia’s heart because the hotel belonged to her family. She would make Remus Corporation pay for their loss once they got rid of George.
Right then, everyone stopped persuading Helen and carried her onto the stage.
Terrified, Helen tried to run away, but some people stopped her.
“Just stay there, Helen!”
Silvia found it ridiculous. As expected, people would show their selfish side when they were on the verge of death.
“Miss Pond, Miss Zimmerman is on the stage now. Shouldn’t you go over too?”
It sounded like a threat. It was as if they would carry her there too if she refused.
Silvia chuckled. She leaped off the windowsill and slowly made her way to the stage.
“Of course. I always mean what I say.”
The crowd automatically gave way. She smiled calmly as if she was going to have some fun instead of courting death.
