Neil’s eyes shone with dissatisfaction. Silvia did not trust and refused to doubt Zayn at all.

“I won’t allow you to endanger yourself no matter what!”

Neil’s overprotective nature started to show again. If this had happened in the past, Silvia would have been glad. But she had gotten so numb that nothing could make her lose her cool.

She just looked at him with a distant expression. “Thank you for telling me, Neil. But I hope you won’t interfere with my personal life.”

“Sil! Don’t be stubborn. I’m telling you this for your sake!”

She smiled and calmly said, “I don’t need you to do that.”

After that, she left.

Neil’s mood instantly soured. Meanwhile, Curtis was in the driver’s seat. He glanced at Neil through the rear-view mirror and cautiously asked, “Mr. Remus, do we need to send some people to protect Miss Pond?”

“Send two people. Don’t let her find out. If anything happens, let me know.”

“Okay.”

After Silvia got out of the car, she slowly walked toward Zayn.

His eyes were full of concern. He only sighed in relief once he was sure that she was fine.

“What did he tell you, Sil? He didn’t ask you to marry him again, did he?”

She shook her head, but she did not tell Zayn that Neil was suspicious of him.

“Nothing. Let’s go back, Zayn.”

Meanwhile, Liam was in an abandoned factory outside of town.

“Mr. Remus, I found something after I did some digging on Silvia Pond!”

Liam appeared gloomy. “What is it?”

“She’s associated with a mercenary called Full Moon. Unfortunately, that’s all I could find.”

When he heard this, he trembled with shock. He gritted his teeth and said, “What? Explain what you’ve found in detail!”
