There was a sneer on Hector’s soft face. “Keep at it. We need to turn the Remus Family upside down.”
His gaze was ruthless as he spoke. He wanted to use Liam to get the secret key at first, but that stupid b*stard was useless.
Despite that, he rescued Liam when Neil tortured him to the brink of death. Unexpectedly, that stupid b*stard betrayed him as soon as he recovered!
However, Hector still had use for him. Otherwise, he would have killed Liam a long time ago!
“Okay.”
“Oh yeah, how is Liam’s revenge plan coming along?” Hector threw the last bit of feed into the pond as he asked indifferently.
“He’s been looking into Silvia recently.”
Hector frowned. “Why is he doing that instead of dealing with Neil? That dumb*ss!”
“I have no idea.” His subordinate lowered his head.
Hector remained silent for a few seconds before he coldly said, “Leave him be. It’ll be fine as long as he comes up with a way to deal with Neil. Make sure Neil doesn’t find him.”
After his subordinate left, Hector sneered. Once Neil was dead, obtaining the secret key would be a piece of cake!
…
Lately, Melanie would always feel like she was being followed on her shopping trips. Yet, she would not find anything strange whenever she turned around.
Once again, she had the same feeling. She quickly looked around, but no one seemed suspicious.
She could not help but frown. Had she been hallucinating due to exhaustion?
As she pondered, she quickly went to her regular store. She then paid for a new dress that she had recently ordered for herself.
After she left, she walked to the roadside to wait for her driver. Just then, someone suddenly pushed her from the back. Melanie fell onto the road, and a car hit her directly!
When Neil and Jake received the news, they rushed to the hospital. They got there an hour later.
Three hours later, the operation finally ended.
“I understand. Thank you, Doctor.”
Once Neil learned that Melanie was fine, he left. He had something more important to do.
Half an hour later, Curtis caught the person who had pushed Melanie.
He was getting ready to board a plane and flee abroad. If Curtis had found out a few minutes later, he would not have caught the man.
When Neil walked into his basement, the man had already been beaten up. Despite that, he gritted his teeth and refused to talk.
Curtis frowned and said, “Mr. Remus, he’s a tough man. I guess we need more time to make him talk.”
