Mr. Remus, Your Billionaire Wife Wants a Divorce novel Chapter 596

Silvia smiled and said, “There’s no need for that. What happened last night was just an accident.”

If Abalene had not learned about the car accident from an old friend, Silvia and Neil would have kept it from her.

“No way. I’ll be worried if you continue to drive alone. What if you get into another accident?”

“I won’t. Don’t worry.”

Abalene realized that she could not convince Silvia. So, she turned to Neil, who had been silent throughout the conversation, and said hastily, “Don’t you know how to take good care of her? It’s so dangerous for her to drive alone. Didn’t you talk to her about it?”

Neil looked at her helplessly. “Silvia’s an adult. She can make her own decisions.”

Abalene glared at him and turned away.

Silvia laughed when she saw their interaction.

“Don’t be angry. I’ll really be fine. This was just an accident. I can’t possibly get into an accident every single day, right?”

“Okay. But you have to promise me to drive slower in the future.”

Silvia nodded. “Alright!”

She and Neil had lunch with Abalene before they returned to Elm Bay. After they entered the mansion, she helped him take off his suit.

He wore all black today because he was afraid that Abalene would notice he was injured.

As expected, when she took off his suit, she realized that a few of his wounds had started to bleed once more.

“I’ll bandage them again.”

“Alright.”

“Yes. There’s an issue with the agreement between Anderson Corporation and MY Corporation. Are you free right now? Let’s meet up and discuss it.”

Silvia contemplated for a while and felt that she had to clarify some things with Ryan. Otherwise, more misunderstandings might happen in the future.

“Alright. Send me your address. I’ll head over.”

After she ended the call, she noticed that Neil was staring directly at her.

She frowned and asked, “What? Is there something on my face?”

Neil gritted his teeth and quickly said, “You know what’s bothering me.”

“What?”

“Why are you meeting Ryan during non-office hours? He obviously likes you!”
