It was Vanguard Technologies that wanted to terminate their contract with them.
Right now, Danielle was the largest shareholder of Newsworld. The core projects led by Ninesky Technologies essentially meant that Newsworld was taking the lead on government collaborations.
If anything went wrong with these projects, the main responsibility would fall squarely on Danielle’s shoulders.
Meanwhile, her lawsuit with Millie was still ongoing.
The accusations against Millie for plagiarism hadn’t been officially confirmed, but Millie’s counterclaims had already tarnished Danielle’s reputation.
To win, Danielle would have to prove beyond a doubt that Millie had blatantly stolen her work.
Gian broke the silence. “Alexander giving you Newsworld was actually a smart move.”
Newsworld was a powerhouse in the industry—its success came with massive responsibilities.
If anything went south, the person most at risk would be the majority shareholder.
“Millie and Liam are here,” the assistant announced, stepping in.
Danielle and Gian exchanged a glance.
At a time like this, there was only one reason for Millie and Liam to come—they were here for business, and probably to twist the knife.
By the time Danielle and Gian entered the meeting room, Millie and Liam were already waiting.
Liam tossed a contract on the table, his expression icy. “We’re terminating the partnership.”
Cloudpath was another company under the Newsworld umbrella.
With Vanguard Technologies backing out, Cloudpath was here to make sure Newsworld couldn’t recover.
Danielle’s face didn’t betray a hint of emotion as she calmly watched Liam slide the contract across the table.
She picked it up, glanced over it, and, without a word, reached for a pen. She signed it, then tossed it back toward Liam. “Get out.”
Her voice was steady, her face cool, showing not a flicker of panic.
Millie narrowed her eyes at Danielle. “If you really can’t keep things afloat, out of respect for all your years of hard work for the Davidson family, I might consider giving you a hand.”
She spoke with an air of someone certain she’d soon be the new matriarch of the Davidson family.
Her words made it sound as if Danielle’s five or six years with the Davidsons, even if not fruitful, were at least deserving of pity.
The implication was enough to make anyone’s stomach turn.

Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
