The project launch was imminent.
With her identity now public, Danielle had become the focus of countless official interview requests. Some she managed to decline, but there were others—state-sponsored publicity, for instance—that she couldn’t refuse outright.
The entire world was watching.
This launch marked a major leap forward for the nation’s space exploration program.
As the launch date approached, Danielle’s schedule grew impossibly packed. She barely had time to breathe, let alone worry about the ongoing lawsuit with Millie.
She’d settle that score once the project was over.
Meanwhile, Millie was busy gathering every piece of evidence she could find. She was determined to clear her name of the plagiarism accusations and win back her reputation.
At the same time, she was preparing her company’s new project for the upcoming innovation competition. She’d picked a novel theme and pushed her team to develop a fresh proposal.
When the plan was finally polished, she submitted it right away.
Liam watched as Millie threw herself into her work.
“Did you have Dr. Gresham review the project?” he asked. “What did he think?”
Dr. Gresham, after all, was Millie’s academic advisor. It was generally wise to consult your mentor before embarking on a major project.
Not everything should rest solely on your own shoulders.
Millie lowered her eyes. “The company’s business isn’t something I need my professor to review.”
“His expertise is in research. When it comes to business and project management, I’m actually more up-to-date.”
“I already spoke to Alex about it. He thinks this project has potential.”
Liam nodded. “If Alex has seen it, that’s reassuring.”
After all, Alexander was now the president of the business association—and before that, he’d been a rising star in aerospace engineering. If he’d stayed in the field, he’d be a global name by now.
“Still, your approach might not sit well with your mentor.”
Millie continued sorting her data, her gaze downcast. “He won’t mind. This is a company decision, not mine alone.”
She knew exactly where she stood.
Liam wasn’t one to meddle in others’ affairs. They were meeting today only because their companies were collaborating on the new project.
“If you know what you’re doing, I won’t say more,” Liam said, studying her. “You’re incredibly capable, but if you want to succeed, you should really learn from Alex—especially in how to work with people.”
With that, he turned and left.

Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
