"Then please, Mr. Davidson, Miss Fletcher, make sure your son learns to behave himself. If he lays a hand on Niki again, I'll see to it the school takes disciplinary action."
Their children attended one of the most prestigious private preschools in the city—a place reserved for the privileged and powerful.
"If Raffy keeps acting out like this, other parents will see him as a threat to their children's safety. And you both know exactly how the school deals with students like that."
With that, Danielle's words hung in the air, cold and unyielding. She took Niki by the hand and walked away without another glance.
Alexander's expression never thawed. Millie glanced at him, then sighed. "Women. Always blowing things out of proportion, holding onto grudges over the smallest things. It's not like I've ever picked a fight with your wife, have I?"
She nudged him with a sly smile. "You're not going to turn on your friends for a woman someday, are you?"
Alexander's face remained unreadable. "Ignore her."

The parent meeting began in earnest. Everyone gathered on the school's main lawn, benches set up before a raised platform at the front. The stage was crowded with props and competition equipment, and a wide digital display towered above it all.
A teacher took the mic. "Thank you for coming today. The city is hosting a math competition, and our school has been selected to provide a class to participate. Since the selection was random, we didn't notify students or parents in advance."
"There's a special prize for first place."
"Could the children from the selected class please get ready? You'll be called to the stage in ten minutes."
Both Niki and Raffy were in the chosen class.
Raffy hadn't expected a competition today. Lately, he'd been spending more time goofing off with Millie and less time on his studies.
Still, he'd always been at the top of his class. Even this sudden challenge didn't faze him.
"Mom, Dad, just watch! I'll go up there and bring home the surprise prize for you!"
His confidence was unshakable. He'd competed in math contests like this plenty of times, and he always came out on top.
Danielle froze, surprised. Her competition draft was filled with complex mathematical symbols Niki couldn't possibly read, yet she'd mimed out the rest with her hands.
Danielle had always known Niki had a remarkable memory, but she'd never realized it was this extraordinary—almost photographic.
She suddenly regretted not encouraging Niki to read more, to cultivate her gifts as early as possible.
Only ten minutes remained before the contest.
Wanting to test her hunch, Danielle pulled out her phone and searched for multiplication and division tables, showing them to Niki.
Niki said, "Mom, I've known these for ages."
Danielle blinked, unsure when Niki had learned them.
She quickly wrote out a set of math problems—

The readers' comments on the novel: The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell
Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
