The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 209

The only people who mattered to him were Millie and Raffy.

School rules? To him, they were a joke.

Danielle wondered how a man could be so ruthlessly cold.

He was domineering, always in control, and made it clear she had only two choices.

Either accept compensation and let things go, or refuse—but in the end, he’d still force a quiet resolution.

All she wanted was justice.

She also needed to stand up for Niki.

Alexander was cold-blooded and unfeeling; Danielle never expected warmth from him.

But she hadn’t realized he could be just as heartless with Niki.

If she didn’t agree, it was as good as forcing Niki to transfer schools.

Alexander straightened up, his gaze settling on Niki. “Niki, do you think you could forgive your brother?”

Danielle’s mind buzzed, his calm, indifferent voice cutting through her like thread—clear, cold, and sharp.

He had shifted the burden right onto the real victim.

Danielle looked at her daughter. “Niki, answer honestly.”

Niki’s head drooped, her small hands clenched tight.

She bit her lower lip, silent for a long moment.

Despite her young age, she was deep in thought.

Finally, after what felt like forever, she lifted her head and spoke softly, “Raffy already apologized to me. As long as it doesn’t happen again.”

She looked at Danielle. “Mom, I won’t let myself be bullied. If something like this ever happens again, I’ll be brave.”

She didn’t want to make things harder for her mother.

Dad seemed dead set on making her change schools. But transferring wasn’t easy, and Mom was already worn thin—picking her up every day, then working late into the night.

She didn’t want to add to her mother’s troubles.

Right now, it felt as if something was clawing at her insides. For years, she had learned patience and endurance.

She wouldn’t budge an inch when it came to her daughter’s rights.

Alexander nodded slightly. “That’s only fair.”

He looked at her, almost lazily. “Anything else?”

Danielle was not the type to walk away so easily.

“Mr. Davidson likes to solve problems with his wallet, doesn’t he? Fifty million dollars, as compensation.”

Her tone was biting.

Alexander stared at her in silence, then the corner of his mouth curled into a cryptic smile. “You don’t lack confidence, do you?”

“Ninesky refused Millie several times because of you?”

Danielle let out a cold laugh, meeting his dark eyes. “Oh? Now you want justice for her?”

All this time, and he was still holding a grudge?

Alexander slipped one hand into his pocket, his voice blunt, “Fine. Fifty million it is—but Ninesky’s current government project? Millie joins the team.”
