"Hello, I'm Quentin Evans, Mr. Davidson's divorce attorney."
The man beside Alexander addressed Danielle politely, his manner calm and professional.
"If you've read through the divorce agreement and have no objections, you can sign it. Tomorrow, we'll just need to register it at city hall."
Quentin was one of the top lawyers in the country, personally recommended by Liam. As soon as he'd heard what happened yesterday at the hospital, Liam had immediately reached out to secure the best legal representation.
At last, Danielle was getting divorced—much to everyone's satisfaction. After all, she'd taken Millie's place for years; there was no way she was walking away from this with a windfall.
Danielle lowered her gaze, staring at the divorce agreement resting on the polished tabletop. She hadn't expected Alexander to draft one himself. Sitting down, she flipped it open and scanned the contents.
If the terms were reasonable, and Conrad gave her the go-ahead after reviewing them, she would sign without a fuss.
But as she studied the clauses, her brows knit together in surprise.
The terms weren't nearly as harsh as she'd imagined. In fact, some were downright unexpected.
She had always known Alexander could be generous—just never when it came to her.
Now, everything was spelled out in black and white: she'd get a prime piece of land in downtown Northridge, ten different properties—some large, some small—and a staggering hundred million dollars in compensation. The real estate alone included their marital home and, notably, two apartments at Royal Metropark Residences.
Royal Metropark Residences was the kind of place money couldn't buy. Just a few days ago, when Millie couldn't secure an apartment there, Alexander had gone out and gotten her one without a second thought.
"Still haven't signed?" Liam had just returned from the restroom, glancing at the group seated around the table. "Don't get any ideas about asking for more," he added, fixing Danielle with a pointed look.
Catching sight of one of the clauses, he frowned. He hadn't seen the details clearly, but he was certain this wasn't the original agreement. When had this new version been drawn up?
And Alexander wasn't even the one at fault here. Even if this went to court, Danielle would walk away empty-handed.
She might have a job at Ninesky right now, but she was, at heart, just a housewife with little ambition. In a place like Ninesky, how long could she possibly last?
Liam had never thought much of Danielle, and his disdain was obvious.
Alexander, however, simply ignored Liam's remarks.
Danielle finally spoke, "About custody. Niki stays with me. Raffy goes with you."
She knew Alexander was divorcing her for Millie; he wanted a clean break. As for Niki, Danielle only wanted her daughter. She didn't care about the money or properties—not if it meant keeping Niki by her side.

Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
