Ever since Miss Millie's accident at the stables, Raffy had convinced all the kids in kindergarten to give Monica the cold shoulder.
No matter what the activity was, nobody wanted to pair up with her.
The math teacher watched the children's reactions, her brow tightening in concern.
"Monica, did you do something to upset the others? Why doesn't anyone want you on their team?"
"Think about your behavior."
Monica looked down, her voice soft. "I can finish the group assignment on my own. I don't need a team."
The advanced math teacher had told her she didn't need to stay in kindergarten anymore—she could just skip ahead to elementary school.
She'd be leaving next semester.
Given the situation, Monica didn't want to trouble her mom. She figured she just had to hang in there one more term—then summer break would come, and it would all be over.
The math teacher frowned. She'd noticed Monica's abilities had grown remarkably lately.
But group assignments were always tricky for one person.
In the end, though, the teacher let it go. This was a prestigious bilingual kindergarten, with every child coming from money or influence. She couldn't afford to offend any of them.
So she simply allowed Monica to work alone.

Danielle lowered her gaze, thinking of the things Alexander had said at the hospital. He wasn't wrong. If a company kept falling behind, the problem was likely with management. No matter how much capital you poured in, if things weren't handled internally, it would all go to waste.
"I've already reached out to some partners," she said. "SoarCorp can't rely on others forever. They need to learn how to stand on their own two feet."
Gian understood the reality of running a business. "It's all right—if there's any hope, I'll help however I can. If you need anything, just ask."
Danielle nodded. "Thank you."
"There's nothing urgent this morning. We're running tests in the afternoon, so if you need to step out, go ahead."
"Thanks." Danielle smiled. "The perks of being a shareholder, huh? But I can't just splurge the company's time for myself."
Gian grinned. "Actually, the afternoon test is postponed to tomorrow. I have a meeting with a partner who's coming over. If you can make it back in time, it'd be great for you to join. If not, don't worry about it."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell
Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
Please update...
The last chapter was too short. More pls. Thank you....
Lovin' this. More more pls!...
