Curtis only managed to stand his ground for a few minutes when he met Neil’s fierce gaze. Eventually, he slowly moved aside.
“I’ll assign someone to follow you. The moment there’s any danger, I’ll send our forces in to save you.”
Neil said nothing else and quickly left the office.
After half an hour, Neil parked his car at an intersection and called Liam.
“What the hell do you want?”
Liam sneered when he heard Neil’s unpleasant voice. “You’re quite fast. However, the people following you are annoying me. If they don’t leave within ten minutes, I’m simply going to kill one of them.”
“Don’t forget that Ada’s pregnant with your child.”
“Haha. So what? Since I’m already a wanted criminal, why should I care about a child? Do you really think I care about kinship?”
Liam sounded sarcastic, and Neil’s gaze turned colder.
“If your parents knew you turned out to be like this, they’d be very upset.”
After Neil said this, Liam fell silent.
A few moments later, he responded in a sinister voice, “Don’t you dare mention my parents. You have nine minutes left. Ask your subordinates to leave, or one of them will die. It’s your choice.”
Once the call ended, Neil dialed Curtis’s number.
“Ask them to stop following me.”
“But if I do that, no one will protect you. Mr. Remus, I’ll ask them to keep a longer distance from you.”
“No. Don’t make me repeat this for a third time!”
“Got it.”
Silvia glared at him.
“What are you planning to do, Liam?”
He cocked an eyebrow in amusement and stared at her pitifully. “I just want you to see how little you mean to Neil. You could never compete with Ada. Hahaha…”
“Lunatic,” she spat as she stared daggers at him.
“You’re better off killing me, Liam. Otherwise, I’ll make your life a living hell!”
In response, Liam grabbed her chin and sneered. “You just can’t shut up. Do you think I’ll give you a chance to do that?”
