Zayn sighed. “Okay. If anything happens, remember to tell me in time.”
Once the call ended, Silvia took her coffee and went back to the office.
After she clocked out, she saw Zayn standing nearby just as she arrived downstairs. Her eyes shone with surprise.
Zayn had been paying attention to the people coming out. When he saw her, he immediately stepped forward.
He reached out to tussle her hair and spoke with a smile, “Let’s go. I’ll take you to dinner.”
“Aren’t you busy with work, Zayn?”
He glanced at her before he said, “No matter how busy I am, I’ll always have time to eat dinner with you. Let’s go. I’ve made a reservation at a French restaurant.”
When Silvia heard this, her eyes instantly lit up. She held his arm and said, “You’re the best!”
Unbeknownst to them, someone in the corner of the street took a picture of their close interaction. The photo was sent to Neil soon after.
Neil held the photo tightly, and the rage in his eyes was obvious.
Curtis was standing a few steps away and trembling in fear. He did not know what immoral person had sent Neil the photo.
If Mr. Remus lost his temper, should he run?”
Neil threw the crumpled photo to the floor and sternly said, “Find out who sent the photo and who the man in the photo is!”
“Yes, Mr. Remus.”
Curtis quickly identified the man with Silvia and subconsciously frowned.
He then brought the information to Neil. “Mr. Remus, the man in the photo is Zayn Xander, the third son of the Xander Family. He’s been living in Imperial City, so theoretically, he shouldn’t have known Miss Pond. Yet, they seem very close.”
“We’re divorced. What else is there to talk about?”
“This is really important.”
After that, she tried to leave with Zayn.
As she walked past Neil, he suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms.
“Mr. Remus, please let go of Sil!”
Zayn was smiling, but those who knew him would know that he was about to lose his temper.
