Silvia frowned because she knew that she could not allow Neil to wait downstairs for her forever.
“Okay. I’ll ask him to leave later.”
Dulcie dared not raise any more questions because Silvia was acting really aloof. “I’ll get back to work then.”
After Dulcie left, Silvia found it hard to read through the file in her hand.
She closed it and went downstairs.
As expected, Neil’s car was still parked at MY Corporation’s entrance. She quickly walked up to it and knocked on the window.
Neil’s face was revealed as he lowered the window.
“Can you please stop coming here? Don’t you have anything else to do?”
“The most important thing now is to win you back.”
Contempt flashed across Silvia’s eyes when she saw his serious gaze.
“I told you that I’ll never get back together with you. I hope you’ll realize it soon. I’ll call the cops on you if you continue to hang around.”
Neil raised his brows in defiance. “Well, this spot doesn’t belong to MY Corporation. It’ll be useless even if you call the cops. I’m sure they can’t deprive a citizen of his basic freedom.”
Silvia gritted her teeth in displeasure. “Suit yourself!”
She returned to her office in a fit of anger. Frustrated, she picked up a document and tried to read it. Yet, Neil’s shameless face kept appearing in her mind.
It seemed like he was set on pestering her.
However, she would not forgive him again.
Chris gave her a call in the afternoon.
“I’m leaving Ryoln City, Silvia. Are you free to grab a bite tonight?”
“Where are you going with him?!”
She sneered. “What does it have to do with you?”
“We’re not divorced yet, Silvia!”
Since Silvia was aware of the fake divorce, Neil decided to go all out. After all, there would not be anything worse than getting a divorce with her.
Silvia had a scornful look as she stressed her words, “Thank you for reminding me how you tricked me!”
His eyes shone with dissatisfaction. He tried to grab her hand, but she avoided him.
“Stop testing my patience, Silvia!”
“I’m not. You’re the one giving yourself a hard time. You won’t have to go through so much trouble if you sign the divorce agreement!”
