Mr. Remus, Your Billionaire Wife Wants a Divorce novel Chapter 600

“No. I won’t be able to work efficiently if you move here.”

“I can help you.”

Silvia raised her eyebrows in amusement and calmly said, “I don’t want you to meddle in my company’s affairs, and I don’t want to get used to relying on you.”

Disappointment flashed across Neil’s eyes as he remarked gloomily, “Sometimes I wish that you weren’t so capable. If only you could shop and travel every day without worry like other women.”

Silvia once imagined a life like that, but the harsh reality ruined her fantasy and enlightened her.

She smiled. “I prefer my current life.”

Neil eventually released her. “Okay. I’ll pick you up at night.”

“Okay.”

After she got out of the car, Neil watched as she entered MY Corporation. Then, he instructed his driver to head to Remus Corporation.

Joe knocked on Silvia’s office door and came in near noon.

“Miss Pond, a person called Jane Leighton would like to meet you.”

Silvia was surprised because she could not figure out why Jane would meet her there.

“Tell her I’m busy,” she said with a frown.

She was not interested in what Jane had to say.

“Understood.”

Since it was Monday, there were plenty of things to handle in the company. Silvia forgot about Jane once she became busy with work.

When it was almost time to clock out, Joe informed her that Jane was still waiting downstairs. It looked like Jane would not give up unless she met her that day.

After a short silence, Silvia said, “Ask her to come upstairs.”

Silvia frowned, and her heart gradually sank.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about!”

“It’s okay if you don’t know. You can look it up. Mr. Remus didn’t get your divorce papers notarized, and he gave you a fake divorce certificate!”

She stared at Jane with contempt and said, “I have no idea why you’re making such groundless statements, but I have no interest in finding out. Please leave right away!”

Jane got to her feet and looked at Silvia with disdain and ridicule.

“I pity you sometimes, Miss Pond. You don’t realize how Mr. Remus has made a fool out of you.”

“Are you leaving on your own, or do you need the security guard to drive you out?”

Jane knew that she had achieved her goal when she saw Silvia’s unpleasant expression. She smiled and said, “That’s not necessary. I’ll go.”

After she left, Silvia took a deep breath and tried to fish for her phone on the table. However, her hand trembled, and she failed to get her phone despite several attempts.
