Dulcie nodded. “That’s true.”
“Let’s make a move too.”
“My boyfriend’s picking me up. You don’t have to send me back.”
“I’ll wait with you then.”
Rita and Blanche were going in the same direction, so they bade goodbye to them and left together.
Soon, Ethan arrived.
Before Dulcie entered his car, she hesitated for a while before she said, “Silvia, I think you can really consider forgiving Neil. After all, you’ve been together for so many years. You might not love someone that much again. I hope that both of you will end up together, but most importantly, I want you to be happy!”
“Alright. You should get inside. It’s cold out here.”
Dulcie wanted to say something else, but she gave up in the end.
It was Silvia’s relationship, and she had to make her own decision in the end.
After Ethan drove away, Silvia got into her car and left as well.
However, as she drove into the main highway, she realized that a few cars were following her.
Her gaze turned cold as she stepped on the accelerator. As expected, the cars behind her accelerated too.
Based on her observation, there were at least five cars following her. She had to think of a way to lose them.
Suddenly, she recalled that there was a bridge a few kilometers away. An idea formed in her head.
She hit the accelerator and drove toward the bridge.
It was almost midnight, so there were no cars on the road. Silvia managed to reach the bridge without any hindrance.
Just as she was about to drive onto the bridge and turn her steering wheel, a car on the opposite side of the road drove toward her. It was too late by the time she realized it.
There was a loud bang, and Silvia’s car flew into the air!
