Ryan knew how determined Ada was to separate Silvia from Neil. She would grab any opportunity to achieve her goal.
At this moment, all he had to do was wait for her to reveal this information to Silvia.
The next morning, as Silvia drove to her mansion’s entrance, a black Maybach blocked her way.
Neil got out of the car with a dark expression and stood by the driver’s side. He just stared at her silently.
After a few minutes, Silvia frowned and rolled down her window. “Mr. Remus, I’m running late for work. Please move your car, or I’ll call the police.”
“Sil, it’s been over a month. Are you still upset?”
She was not angry anymore; she was just determined to not forgive him.
She chuckled and said, “Mr. Remus, do you still want me to forgive you? Your scandals are all over the place. You can attract countless beauties with just a snap of your fingers. Why bother clinging to me?”
“They’re not you.”
“Even if they’re not me, you still have fun hanging out with them. It looks like I’m not that important, am I?”
Neil furrowed his brows. He stared at her for a moment and laughed.
“Are you jealous?”
“I don’t have time for such a thing.”
Silvia glanced at the time with a frown and said, “Are you going to move your car?”
“I won’t move it unless you forgive me.”
Silvia’s patience wore thin, and she snapped, “Neil, aren’t you busy with work? We’ve broken up, and I’ve made it clear that I don’t want to see you again!”
“Curtis told me that women tend to speak in opposites when they’re angry. Since you say that you don’t want to see me, it means you actually want to see me.”
She was rendered speechless.
“Yeah. What’s the matter?” Silvia replied as she organized some files.
“They invited me too. Let’s go together. The Design Department has been doing well in the second half of the year. I’ve talked to the Finance Department about giving them a bonus. We can share the good news with them tonight.”
Silvia nodded. “Sure.”
Later, they headed to the parking lot. Dulcie’s car was under maintenance, so she had been commuting via taxi recently.
After they entered Silvia’s car, Dulcie rubbed her hands together. “It’s so cold. The weather forecast mentioned snow tonight. I wonder if it will actually happen.”
Silvia then started the engine. Once they left the underground parking lot, she noticed Neil’s car on the side of the road.
She frowned and drove away as if she had not seen it.
Dulcie had spotted his car too, and she asked, “Sil, is Neil still bothering you?”
