Mr. Remus, Your Billionaire Wife Wants a Divorce novel Chapter 564

The moment Silvia gave her answer, fireworks lit up the night sky outside the windows.

This was the surprise that Neil had prepared for her. The fireworks eventually formed a sentence in the sky.

[Marry me, Sil!]

There was even a red heart at the end of the sentence.

Neil froze. When he saw the indifference in her eyes, he finally understood why he had felt annoyed in the afternoon.

He had a nagging feeling that Silvia would reject his proposal, but he did not expect her to seem so detached as if they were strangers.

He instantly became flustered.

“Sil…” He reached out to hold her hand, but she moved back and avoided him.

Silvia looked at him indifferently as she said, “Neil, let’s break up.”

Neil was completely stunned.

He only snapped out of it after a while.

“Why?”

“Because I don’t love you anymore. That’s it.”

After that, she turned around without sparing him another glance.

As she reached the entrance of the restaurant, Neil ran after her and grabbed her wrist.

“Sil, what did I do? Why do you want to break up with me all of a sudden?”

Silvia met his angry gaze and swung his hand away without a care. There was no emotion in her eyes.

“Why? I’d also like to ask you why you hid the fact that Chris saved me from the fire?”

Neil’s gaze turned cold. “Are you breaking up with me just because of that?”

Silvia stared at him. “Isn’t that reason enough?”

Silvia did not care. She pushed him away and coldly said, “That’s your business. Stop pestering me. It’ll only make you look pathetic!”

“I won’t let you go even if you think I’m pathetic!”

When Silvia saw the obsession in his eyes, she got impatient.

“You’re the reason why this relationship is ruined. I’ve told you how I hated cheaters, but you never stop lying to me!”

A relationship that was full of lies would never last long.

“I won’t let you go no matter what.”

Silvia chuckled and replied with ridicule, “Neil, you can’t keep me.”

After that, she took a taxi back to Elm Bay.

At home, she took out a can of beer from the fridge and walked to the couch with bare feet. She sat down with her legs crossed and took a sip of the beer, but she did not feel any better.
