“Book Sky Garden and deliver the flowers there. Ask them to complete the decorations before 6 p.m.”
“Okay, I’m on it!”
“When will the ring arrive?”
“Tomorrow morning. I’ll bring it to your office.”
“Alright.”
After Neil hung up, his eyes shone with affection, and he subconsciously broke into a smile. He would give Silvia a grand proposal tomorrow. She would have all the things that other women had.
That night, Silvia and Winston bade farewell to Noelle.
By the time they finished dinner, it was already past 9 p.m. When they sent Noelle to her hotel, Silvia hugged her and appeared reluctant to let her go.
“Noelle, I don’t know when we’ll meet again.”
Noelle seemed reluctant to part with her too, but she still smiled and caressed her head. “There will always be a chance to meet.”
Silvia nodded, and her eyes turned slightly red. “When I have the time, I’ll visit you in Dewland.”
“Sure. You’re always welcome here.”
Winston said, “Don’t forget me. I heard that there are a lot of pretty girls in Dewland. Noelle, you never introduce them to me.”
She gave him a look of displeasure. “Come on. Your brain stops functioning when you see the beautiful girls. You won’t even notice when they make a fool out of you.”
Silvia could not help but chuckle as Winston glared at her. “What are you laughing at?”
She raised her eyebrows in amusement and asked, “Are you sure you want me to say it out loud?”
When Winston saw her smirking, he instantly had a bad feeling. He quickly said, “Well, we’re sending Noelle off today. Let’s leave unrelated things out of this.”
“Yeah. Noelle, you’ll be abroad on your own. You need to take good care of yourself.”
Noelle appeared confident. “Don’t worry. I’m skilled in martial arts!”
After she said this, they recalled the incident where Noelle had gotten drunk and hit a robber so hard that he ran to the police station. They immediately burst into laughter.
However, they became gloomy again soon after.
Those happy times were now in the past.
“Winston said he would send me home, so I didn’t trouble you,” she said softly.
Neil frowned when he sensed that something was off with Silvia’s attitude toward him. He was about to speak, but she looked down and said, “I’m a little tired today. I’ll go inside and get some rest.”
After that, she quickly made her way toward the mansion without looking at him.
However, as she walked past him, he reached out to grab her wrist.
“Sil, what’s wrong? You seem a little indifferent toward me today. Have I done anything to make you angry?”
Silvia lowered her head and sounded calm. “No. I really am just tired.”
He remained silent for a while and slowly let go of her hand.
She did not say anything else and quickly entered the mansion.
After she returned to her room, she took a shower and went to bed. She was truly tired, but she could not fall asleep no matter what.
Her mind kept replaying the words that Alan had said in the hospital during the day. If Chris ended up being her savior, she really did not know how she would face him. She also did not know what would happen to her relationship with Neil.
She barely slept, and she woke up with huge eye bags the next morning. On top of that, she looked sickly.
