After Silvia and Neil returned, they walked toward the mansion in silence. The moment they unlocked the door, Silvia sensed that something was off. She grabbed Neil’s hand immediately and ran outside.

Following a loud explosion, a microbomb blew the mansion door apart. Even though it was not deadly, it might have injured them.

Silvia’s expression was cold as she said, “It must be Liam’s doing.”

He did not install the microbomb to kill them but to tell them that he was back and always watching.

Neil’s eyes were filled with anger. “Let’s stay in Royal Vista in the meantime. I’ll send someone over to clean this up later. You should bring a few more bodyguards along with you when you head out the next few days.”

It was close to midnight by the time they reached Royal Vista. Silvia took a shower and went to sleep. Meanwhile, Neil entered the study to work as he waited for news from Curtis.

It was late in the night. Ada was fast asleep when she suddenly felt a pair of hands on her mouth.

She jolted awake and saw a black figure standing next to her bed. The person was pressing his hands against her mouth. She was shocked, and she immediately started to scream.

“Stop yelling! It’s me!”

She recognized Liam’s voice. The fear in her eyes immediately turned into anger as she slapped him.

Liam immediately slid his hands down to choke her.

He laughed. “I know that you want to break Neil and Silvia up, and I can help with that.”

“Why should I believe you? You hate Neil and Silvia. You’re back because you want revenge, right?” Ada remained quiet for a moment before she spoke coldly.

Liam nodded. “Of course. But I have to find a dad for my child, don’t I?”

He could not be with his child in his current state. He was a wanted criminal, so how could he give his child a stable life?

“What do you mean?”

“Don’t you want to marry Neil? I can make your dream come true!”
