Suddenly, Shaun started bleeding from his nose.

Halsey pointed and said, “You’re bleeding!”

Shaun hadn’t even noticed it himself until she mentioned it. He reached up and touched the tip of his nose-his fingers came away covered in fresh blood.

Shaun froze for a moment before quickly dashing into the bathroom. He went to wash up.

Halsey couldn’t help but laugh quietly to herself. He had insisted he wasn’t feeling anything, but he ended up with a nosebleed.

She knew she would be teasing him about this for a whole year.

Halsey straightened her sleep dress and got down from the bed, then went over to the bathroom door.

Shaun stood by the sink, his handsome frame tall and straight as he splashed cold water on his face.

Leaning against the doorframe, Halsey grinned. “Why did you get a nosebleed? Is it the dry air? Or are you feeling hot too?”

Shaun knew she was teasing him, but he couldn’t deny it. He could control his words, but not his body.

He had actually gotten a nosebleed from overstimulation!

Halsey laughed some more. “I’m guessing your mouth is probably the toughest thing on your body.”

Shaun turned off the faucet and faced her. He looked at her pretty smile and said, “Don’t you know where the toughest part of

me is?”

Halsey paused for a few seconds before understanding what he meant. Her smile twisted a little.

Shaun stepped closer, invading her space. “You think it’s funny? Want me to show you the hardest part of me?”

The atmosphere suddenly turned charged.

Halsey’s body shivered slightly, but instead of stepping back, she stepped forward. Their bodies pressed close together through

the thin fabric.

Man and woman, one hard and one soft, but both charged with tension.

She raised a delicate brow. “Sure, I’m curious to see where the hardest part of you really is.”

Shaun’s face shifted.

Halsey lifted her pale hand and placed it on his chest. She could feel the muscle tense beneath her touch, like he was fighting hard to control his desire.

Her hand slid slowly down his chest. “Is this the hardest part of you?”

Her fingers reached his well-built waist, hooking onto his belt.

She grabbed his belt.

Shaun suddenly felt her grabbing the most vulnerable part of his body, and he held her slender wrist tightly.

Halsey looked up at him. “What’s wrong? Scared now?”

Shaun stared at her, daring him, then bent down and kissed her firmly on the lips.
