“There was a minor celebrity who stayed with Ms Layton for three nights as part of a deal. Afterward, she paid him 500 thousand dollars as a bonus.
“Then there was a strong personal trainer. That time, Ms. Layton went too far and ended up with an ovarian cyst rupture. I was the one who took her to the hospital! Even Mr. Layton was unaware of it.
“The most intense case was a foreigner who came to the bar. Ms. Layton liked him, and he couldn’t get out of bed for a whole day after. The worst time was when she didn’t use protection, got pregnant, and I had to arrange for her to get an abortion…”
I rattled off the list all at once, and Camille’s face twisted with rage. “Max, shut mouth!”
your damn
She lunged at me, trying to snatch my phone, but I slapped her hand away. “Ms. Layton, please behave. Do you want to snatch my phone in front of everyone?”
I looked at her with utter contempt.
I didn’t want to say any of this, but since they were using the Zenn family to target me, there was no way I could just stand by.
“You bastard,” Camille snarled, “What if I do try to take your phone? Who told you to slander me? I’ll call the police on you!”
I smiled. “Go ahead and call the police. Let’s see if what I’m saying is true. Do you dare?”
Camille froze, her face turning pale. She quickly ran back to Desmond’s side. “Mr. Zenn, don’t listen to him. He’s just trying to slander me and drive a wedge between us!”
Desmond’s face darkened.
He was accustomed to wild behavior from wealthy kids, but it was usually the men who caused trouble. A woman like Camille being this reckless was something rare.
As the second son of the Zenn family, there was no way he could tolerate it. “Camille, you’ve been playing around a lot,” he commented.
“No, Mr. Zenn, listen to me. He’s lying. He’s making it all up…” Camille could only explain feebly.
I smiled coldly. “Ms. Layton, don’t worry. Mr. Zenn won’t look down on you. With your experience, he might even like you more.”
My words were cruel.
Sophia covered her mouth, holding back a laugh that felt out of place. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Desmond went pale at my remark. He then snorted angrily and stormed off. It was clear that he couldn’t stand it any longer.
Camille tried to follow, but she knew that chasing after him was pointless when she saw his
expression.
“Max, are you crazy? Who told you to say all this?” She glared at me like she wanted to tear me
apart.
I glanced at her calmly. “Ms. Layton, I’m doing you a favor by telling you this.”
“Don’t give me that crap! Do you think I’m stupid?” Camille cursed loudly.
