“Stop lying to yourself,” he scoffed. “You think I want you back? With Kieran’s children? A woman who bears another man’s children isn’t fit to be Luna of the Silverblood Pack.”

I nodded, striding to the door despite my trembling legs. I yanked it open. “That suits me perfectly.. Now get out of my room.”

Tristan’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t forget this is Moon Sanctuary, my territory.”

“You’re right,” I replied, my vojce ice–cold. “Then I should be the one to leave and return to my true home–Moonshade Pack.”

“You don’t belong anywhere in Silverblood territory,” he spat.

tristant I called as he stalked toward the door. “I’m only here because I’m helping Alpha Fenris Otherwise, I’d rather die than set foot in Silverblood Pack territory! Your parents expressed their apologies and concern to me yesterday. It’s out of respect for them that I stayed. But since you insist, I leave your territory now. That should make you happy.”
