The CEO’s Masked Secret Wife novel Chapter 20

20 The Ultimate Tease

Hazel’s POV

I stormed down the hallway to my desk, anger and humiliation burning through me. How dare Liam leave me hanging like that? The smug bastard thought he could control everythingincluding my body’s responses.

He had another thing coming.

I dropped into my chair, mind racing. The conference with the Hong Kong investors was starting in fifteen minutes. Liam would be trapped on that call for at least an hour.

Perfect.

An idea formedwicked, inappropriate, and exactly what he deserved. I grabbed my purse and hurried to find Emma from Accounting.

I need a favor,I whispered urgently. Can you run to the bakery across the street? I need a chocolate cake. The richest, most decadent one they have.”

Emma raised her eyebrows but didn’t question me. Sure, give me ten minutes

While waiting, I checked my appearance in my compact mirror. My lipstick needed. refreshing. I applied a deep red shade, ensuring it was perfect. I loosened another button on my blouse, just enough to be suggestive without being obvious.

Emma returned with a small chocolate cake that looked sinfully delicious. I thanked her and returned to my desk, gathering a plate, fork, and napkins from the break room.

At exactly three minutes before Liam’s conference call, 1 knocked on his office door.

Come in,he called, his voice all business.

I entered, balancing the cake and supplies. Liam looked up from his laptop, his expression shifting from professional to wary when he saw me.

What are you doing?he asked, eyes narrowing.

I smiled sweetly. Just thought you might want something for your call. It’s going to be a long one.

Before he could respond, his computer chimed with the incoming video conference. I

set the cake down on the small table by the windowjust visible from his desk, but out

of frame for the video call.

Ms. Vance, I don’t have time for=

Mr. Sterling?A heavily accented voice came from his laptop. Are

you there?

Liam’s jaw clenched. One moment.” He covered the microphone. We’ll discuss this later. Please leave.

Instead, I walked to the door. But rather than exiting, I turned the lock with an audible click.

The confusion on Liam’s face was priceless.

What the hell are you doing?he whispered harshly.

I put my finger to my lips and moved to the table with the cake. Liam’s attention snapped back to his screen.

I apologize for the delay, Mr. Wong. I’m ready to begin.”

As Liam launched into his presentation, I took a seat by the window, just visible in his peripheral vision. I sliced into the chocolate cake with deliberate slowness. His eyes flickered toward me momentarily before returning to the screen.

I took my first bite, closing my eyes and letting out a soft, barely audible moan. When I opened them, Liam was staring at me, his sentence trailing off.

Mr. Sterling? Is everything alright?came the voice from the computer.

Yes, sorry. As I was saying

I pulled out my phone and typed a message, watching as his phone lit up on his desk. His eyes darted to it, then back to the screen.

Annoying when someone interrupts you, isn’t it?

His jaw tightened, but he continued his presentation without missing a beat. I took another bite of cake, this time running my tongue slowly across my lips to catch a stray bit of frosting. His hands gripped the edge of his desk.

I sent another text: Remember when you said I’d beg? Watch closely.

Llam’s composure slipped for just a second before he regained it. He was discussing quarterly projections now, his voice steady despite the slight flush creeping up his neck.

I placed the cake aside and slowly crossed my legs, letting my skirt ride up just enough. His eyes flickered to my thighs, where the black lace edge of the panties he’d given me was just visible.

Another text: These panties feel amazing. Want to see?

His phone buzzed. He ignored it, but I could see the tension in his shoulders. I uncrossed my legs and spread them slightly, just enough to be provocative. His eyes. widened for a fraction of a second before he forced them back to the screen.

The market projections for Q3 show a significant upturn,” he continued, his voice slightly rougher than before.

I hiked my skirt higher and slid my hand between my thighs. His breath caught audibly.

Excuse me,” he said to the investors, taking a quick sip of water. Seasonal allergies.”

My next text was bolder: You wanted to make me come in your office. Let me show you how it’s done.

As he glanced at his phone, I slid my hand inside the lace panties. His knuckles went white around his pen.

I pleasured myself slowly, watching his desperate attempts to focus on hist presentation. His voice grew hoarser, and twice he lost his train of thought. The investors must have thought he was ill.

My breathing quickened as I worked myself closer to the edge. Liam was barely holding -it together, his eyes constantly darting between his screen and me.

I threw my head back slightly, biting my lip to keep quiet as waves of pleasure washed over me. Liam was practically panting, desperately maintaining his professional facade.

When I finished, I straightened my skirt and picked up my phone one last time: I taste better than chocolate cake. Yours is waiting.

I stood, smoothed my clothing, and walked to his desk. His eyes were dark with a mixture of rage and desire. I set the remainder of the cake in front of him, making sure
