Jackson seemed even more deflated when he saw Molly was about to follow him. But they couldn’t be alone together because it was a live broadcast. He felt disheartened.
He suddenly suggested, “Janie, there’s a gazebo over there, let’s go sit there” Janie naturally agreed, “Sure.”
After they sat down, Jackson took drinks and fruit out of his rucksack. He invited David and Molly to eat with him, but they excused themselves.
Jackson cut the fruit into bite sized pieces and put a straw in the drink before handing it to Janie. David and Molly both watched in amazement.
Molly was envious. Jackson was really attentive to Janie! She thought so and said so.
Jackson’s face was filled with pride. “Absolutely, Janie treats me even better!”
[Jackson is so attentive and gentle! So sweet!]
[Oooh, their effort is mutual.]
Janie took out her cell phone and started texting.
Jackson, David, and Molly were not close acquaintances, so they each ate their own food.
When Xena and her group arrived, Janie happened to reveal a warm and soft smile. The group exchanged glances. Xena was the first to speak, “Hi, everyone.”
Jackson felt awkward and thought, ‘How come it’s them again?‘
Janie was concentrating on texting and didn’t pay any attention to her. Seeing this, Xena was naturally not too pleased. She laughed, “May we sit with you?”
Molly took a bite of her apple in silence and David said nothing. Xena still maintained her smile while Ryan tried his best not to get angry.
“Janie?” Xena spoke softly, her gaze going to Janie who was sitting across from her.
Janie was staring intently at the screen of her mobile phone. When she heard Xena’s voice, she slowly raised her head to look at her.
Xena hesitated for a moment, then carefully asked, “Can we sit here together?”
A trace of a relaxed smile appeared on Janie’s face, and she said simply, “Of course, this isn’t my home. Find a seat.”
[Holy shit! Janie’s expression is too gentle. The person she’s texting with must be important to her.]
[Jackson: How did you come again? What a downer.]
With a smile, Xena sat down with Ryan and Jason.
After a moment’s hesitation, she spoke sincerely, “We’re going to be taping the show together for a long time. I want to apologize for any misunderstandings we had before. I hope we can make a fresh start.”
Jason chimed in, “Yeah, it’s not a big deal. We had a few misunderstandings at first. Just some small misunderstandings when we first met. Both Janie and you are good girls.”
Jackson, on the other hand, rolled his eyes impatiently. All three were looking at Janie, waiting for her response.

She finally spoke, “As long as you don’t pick a fight, we can be at peace.”
Xena and Jason were a bit taken aback. Xena looked slightly annoyed but forced a smile. “Janie, you really are one of a kind. Of course, we won’t pick a fight.”
Janie grinned and said, “Good.”
Ryan seemed about to lose his temper, but Xena gently restrained him. He regained his composure and calmed down.
Xena casually struck up a chat with Janic, “What were you looking at just now? You looked happy.”
Before Janie could reply, Jackson frowned and said, “Why are you being so nosy? It’s her privacy.”
Xena felt her cheeks heat up and replied, “I didn’t mean to. I was trying to make conversation, sorry.”
Ryan looked at Jackson with dissatisfaction, “Why is your attitude towards Xena always so bad?”
Seeing that the atmosphere was about to become tense again, Janie said lightly, “I was just sending a message.”
She added with a wry smile, “Miss Xena, I don’t think I need to tell you who it was or what it said, do I?”
Xena forced a smile, “Of course not. You’re so humorous.”
[Xena is so gentle and kind! Even if she’s not wrong, she still takes the initiative to apologize.]
[Janie is so cool! I love you so much!]
[To be honest, Xena did seem a little impulsive, though I doubt she meant any harm.]
Ryan suddenly frowned and blurted out, “Is that person that important to you? You-”
David and the others remained silent. Ryan’s behavior was getting weird. His attitude towards Janie was really puzzling.
Realizing he had misspoken, Ryan immediately shut up. He wished he could slap himself.
Janie’s expression earlier had shown that the person was important to her. Ryan began to think wildly.
He tried to defend himself, “Sorry, I’m not in a good state today.”
Jackson Moore glanced at Ryan Jenkins mockingly, not saying a word.
Janie smiled and seemed to think of something, her expression softened, “Yes, that person is very important to me.”
Jackson immediately understood. He silently rolled his eyes. David and the others were surprised. Ryan pursed his lips tightly.
Janie looked at Ryan. “Your state is indeed not good. Fortunately, I’m open–minded and don’t mind. You’d better get used to it as soon as possible.”
Ryan said with a stiff neck due to anger, “I know.”
Janie nodded with a smile.
