The crowd outside started to stir, urging David to open the door.
Emily wailed and cried in despair, while her parents lay motionless, looking as though they were alrearly dead.

“Mr. Smith, you can’t do this. After all, Emily is your relative, and her parents are your elders. They collapsed because of your family. How can you just ignore this?”
“You shouldn’t just stand by and watch that, even if you are a stranger!”
The scene was complete chaos
Emily’s parents remained still, and Emily, still crying, shouted desperately. “David, please help my parents. You don’t like me? I’ll stay away from you from now on”
“Yeah, it’s so tragic,” they said, pretending to sympathize, but not one of them stepped forward to help Emily’s parents, nor did anyone bother to call an ambulance.
They were all full of empty words of sympathy, pointing fingers at David, while holding their cameras and phones up to capture it all.
The Smith family’s bodyguards had already stepped in and held everyone back. David’s expression was cold. “Call the police
At the mention of the police, the crowd seemed to lose their energy
“Mr. Smith, we are just concerned, we haven’t done anything illegal, have we?
“David, you’re being so heartless. Could it be that they’ve all died?”

Everyone froze and looked up, surprised. William, Isabella, James, and Olivia appeared.
Emily’s crying stopped abruptly, and her eyes widened in disbelief at what she saw.
‘How can this be? How are they not dead? Even if they’re not dead, they shouldn’t be looking this fine… she wondered.
Emily’s parents slowly opened their eyes just enough to peek. When they saw who it was, their eyes rolled back in shock. almost really fainting.
William’s voice boomed. “Who said our whole family is dead?”
The crowd went silent for a moment, then started chattering again.
“Mr. Smith, thank goodness you’re all right. Now we can rest easy.”
“Yeah, we only heard rumors. It’s good to see you’re fine.”
