“I’ve told you many times already–Jennie is not my lover. We have never crossed the line!” Declan hastily explained.
Phoebe let out a mocking laugh, her icy gaze fixed on Declan. “It doesn’t matter anymore. I won’t get in the way of you and Jennifer, and I expect you to keep your nose out of my social life.”
Declan’s eyes burned with anger. “Mason clearly has feelings for you. I won’t let you see him again. Don’t push me.”
“Oh? And Jennifer doesn’t have feelings for you? Compared to you two, Mason and I have a much purer relationship.”
“Sounds like you really don’t care if Mason’s future is ruined because of you!”
Phoebe’s fingers clenched unconsciously at her side. She wasn’t afraid of Declan, but she didn’t want to jeopardize Mason’s career because of her own actions.
After a long silence, she finally looked at Declan coldly. “Fine, I won’t see Mason again. But if anything happens to him, I won’t let Jennifer off either.
Declan narrowed his eyes. “Are you threatening me?”
Phoebe smiled. “Weren’t you just threatening me too?” With that, she turned and walked upstairs without another word.
Back in her bedroom, her phone suddenly rang–it was Cora. “Ms. Greene, I want to take a day off tomorrow,” Cora said.
Phoebe was a little surprised. “You’re always working like crazy. What’s so important that you need a day off?”
I’m going to sue Bianca. I’m meeting with my lawyer now.”
Phoebe frowned. “What happened? She didn’t return Heart’s Whisper to you?”
Cora sneered, her voice filled with anger, “She returned it, but she cut several slits in it. It’s completely ruined. I’m not letting her get away with this.”
Hearing that, Phoebe felt a surge of anger as well. “I’ll send you the listed price for Heart’s Whisper in a bit–use that amount for the lawsuit.”
“Got it,” Cora replied. After a brief pause, she added with a hint of guilt, “Pheebs, I’m sorry. I didn’t protect the birthday gift you gave me.”
“You did nothing wrong. No need to apologize. That day, you must have been devastated after finding out you’d been cheated on. It’s completely understandable that you left the dress there.”
“I’ll make sure Bianca pays for this!”
“Great, and I’ll help you.”
After hanging up, Phoebe immediately called Marlyn and asked, “Didn’t an employee mistakenly list Heart’s Whisper at the wrong price before? What was it?”
Marlyn sounded a little confused by the question. “If I remember correctly, it was 800 thousand dollars.”
“And if I’m not mistaken, my personally designed gowns were originally priced between 1 million and 1.6 million dollars,
right?*
Marlyn chuckled. “Ms. Greene, that was three years ago. You haven’t released many new designs since then, and now the prices of your designs have skyrocketed to over 3 million dollars.”

Chapter 58
Phoebe hadn’t expected the value to have multiplied so drastically. “Got it.”
Just as she was about to hang up, Marlyn suddenly asked, “Ms. Greene, our monthly profits have reached around 600 thousand dollars now. Should I still transfer all the money to the account you gave me?”

Phoebe tightened her grip on her phone and replied in a somber voice, “Yes.” After ending the call, she sat in a daze for a while before texting Cora to claim that the dress was worth 3 million dollars in the complaint.
Then, after some thought, she sent another message to one of her subordinates: [Modify a payment record for me. I’ll send the details shortly.]
Before long, they completed the task as instructed. Phoebe’s eyes turned cold as she looked at the 3 million deducted from her account. She hadn’t planned on dealing with Bianca this way, but Bianca had crossed the line.
