Chapter 121
“You ungrateful wretch, I should have throttled you in the cradle…” Olivia shouted.
Phoebe immediately hung up the call, and her hand holding the phone slightly trembled.
It was late summer, but she felt so cold.

“That’s how your parents talk to you? By yelling all the time?” Declan approached her in the wheelchair and seemed to have listened to that call for a while.
Phoebe just stuffed her phone into her pocket and didn’t answer that question.
She said, “I’ll go face washing now, Mr. Richardson. I’ll take you to breakfast when I’m done.”
While passing by Declan, he suddenly grabbed her wrist.
“Answer my question, Phoebe.”
Frowning, she shook off his hand and replied coldly, “Does it have anything to do with you?”
“I’m your husband,” said Declan.
Right after he said that, Phoebe cast a mocking glance at him. “Mr. Richardson, you know very well that the Greenes don’t care for me at all. Don’t speak like you are just becoming aware of that.”
Declan looked a little embarrassed, and Phoebe ignored the shock on his face and left.
After washing her face, Phoebe left the bathroom, only to see Declan staying where they had the conflict just now, with his head down in complicated thoughts.
But Phoebe didn’t give it a damn.
She walked to Declan’s back and said in a low voice, “I’m taking you to breakfast now, Mr. Richardson.”
As soon as they got to the restaurant of the hotel, Yann noticed them and waved at Phoebe. “Morning, Ph- um, Ms. Greene. Do you mind if I join you?”
Phoebe looked at Declan and wheeled him to Yann’s table after discerning no opposition on his face.
“What do you want for breakfast, Mr. Richardson?”
“Whatever,” said Declan coldly. Phoebe didn’t say anything more and walked to the breakfast buffet.
When having the meal, Declan also remained silent with a sullen face. Since Phoebe and Yann had to pretend they didn’t know each other, they just chatted for a short while.
After breakfast, Yann suddenly asked Declan, when Phoebe was about to wheel him back to his room, “Mr. Richardson, may I ask when we can leave for Roseberg?”
“The flight is at three in the afternoon,” said Declan.
Back to the top floor, Phoebe took Declan to the study and immediately turned around to leave.
But Declan said with guilt before she left his suite, “Sorry about neglecting you before, Phoebe.”
Her steps paused for a second. Then, she lowered her eyes and replied, “You don’t have to. I haven’t cared about these things for a long time.”

Looking at Phoebe, he somehow found her a little haggard and wanted to say something else to her. However, his tongue stuck, and he could only watch her leave.
Meanwhile, Phoebe got back to the bedroom and packed all her stuff before receiving a call from Bianca.
“You goddamn bitch, did you call the police to detain me?” she shouted over the phone.
