Just as Bianca was about to make the call, Declan abruptly stood up and said, “I’ve got things to do. Enjoy your time, guys”
Bianca’s face paled slightly, and she looked at Scott with a hint of grievance. “Declan doesn’t like me, right?”
Hearing her words, lan frowned and felt she was a bit hypocritical. With a smirk, he leaned back and drawled, “If Declan did like you, someone else might get jealous.”
Scott shot lan a glare but then tousled Bianca’s hair and replied, “No, he’s always been cold like that. You’ll get used to it.”
Declan left the room and checked his phone, but he saw no missed calls or messages.
Previously, Phoebe would always prepare hangover remedies when he was out drinking or socializing and would remind him to take it easy with alcohol. Now, she wouldn’t even ask if he didn’t come home all night.
A chill passed through his eyes as he pocketed his phone and was about to leave when he noticed someone holding a silver phone. His expression turned ice–cold; that phone was a custom model he had commissioned for Phoebe’s birthday last year. It was one of a kind in Roseberg.
He confronted the person and asked in a frosty tone, “Where did you get that phone?”
Mason hadn’t expected to run into Phoebe at Grand Luxe, and the flush on her face immediately made him frown–it was clear someone had set her up. He quickly brought her to his room and called his manager. “Get a doctor here, a female one, and fast.”
After hanging up, still uneasy, Mason pushed open the bedroom door and froze. The sight before him tensed every muscle in his body.
The sheets were a mess from Phoebe’s struggles. Her face was flushed, and her brows furrowed in discomfort. Her normally bright eyes were slightly open but unfocused, radiating an unintended allure.
Her collar was partially undone due to her writhing, exposing much of her smooth skin as she tugged at her neckline, unaware of her actions.
“It’s so hot,” she murmured.
Mason clenched his fists, forced himself to look away, and comforted her, “Hold on, Phoebe, the doctor will be here soon.”
He made sure there was nothing in the room that could harm her before stepping out.
The wait for the doctor felt longer than ever. After several unbearable minutes, he decided to check on her again.
Just then, the door burst open with a loud bang, and a tall figure enveloped in a cold vibe stormed in.
Seeing Mason, Declan rushed toward him and demanded, “Where is Phoebe?”
Mason frowned and replied coldly, “Mr. Richardson, this is my room. Please leave.”
Ignoring Mason, Declan headed straight for the bedroom. Mason tried to stop him, but Declan’s bodyguards quickly
restrained him.
Declan pushed open the bedroom door, and his pupils shrank at the sight. He closed the door sharply, and when he re- emerged, Phoebe was securely wrapped up in his suit.
As he passed Mason, Declan’s gaze was menacing as he warned, “If I find out you’re i

Declan took Phoebe to the penthouse. She struggled the whole way, but he remained stoic and unyielding.
Thinking about what could have happened if he hadn’t seen her phone earlier, anger simmered inside him.

Once in the penthouse suite, Declan placed Phoebe on the bed. The pain momentarily brought her back to her senses, but it was followed by an unbearable sensation as if ants were crawling under her skin.
“I feel so hot… Help me…” she mumbled, frantically tugging at her clothes. Her body was tinged pink, resembling a ripe peach beckoning to be plucked.
Declan moved closer, grabbed her restless hands, and looked into her eyes. “Phoebe, how do you want me to help you?”
