It had only been a short while, but Victor’s attitude toward her had already shifted.

If this kept up, when Blake and Joshua came back, Skylar would win them over too. Then she would truly be completely isolated in this family.

Freya lay awake all night, her mind racing with worry.

Victor came back this time to film a reality show.

The reality show paired celebrities with ordinary people to experience rural life together.

No one knew what kind of weirdos the production team would end up finding.

His agent told him to find an ordinary participant on his own. Later, the agent would bring them to the set, pretending they were complete strangers for the sake of the show.

Victor had originally planned to take Freya, but then, Skylar was brought back into the family.

No matter which one he chose, it just didn’t feel right.

After much thought, Victor decided to let them make the choice themselves.

“Victor,” Freya said, her eyes shining. “I’d love to go with you. May I?”

Freya thought, ‘They haven’t officially announced Skylar’s identity yet. If I show up in public first, everyone will see me as their sole heiress.

‘Once I find a way to get rid of Skylar, I’ll finally be free from all worries.’

Victor didn’t give an immediate answer. He was waiting to hear Skylar’s response.

Skylar was completely focused on her breakfast, occasionally helping Adam. She didn’t pay any attention to their conversation.

Victor frowned, growing impatient when Skylar stayed silent for a while. “Skylar,” he pressed, “what do you think?”

Skylar blinked, looking confused. “What?”

“Skylar,” Freya said sweetly, “we were just talking about the show. It’s been ages since I last saw Victor. I’d really love to properly catch up with him. You wouldn’t mind if I went with him instead, would you?”

Skylar said indifferently, “Whatever.”

Skylar’s coldness killed Victor’s urge to apologize and make up for the misunderstanding.

Victor snapped irritably, “Fine. Then Freya will go with me.”

Freya smiled sweetly, pretending to be modest.

She finally got her way and joined the reality show.

Although Carlos and Yana didn’t usually follow this kind of show, with both Victor and Freya participating, they made sure to tune in and show their support.

Skylar was inevitably dragged into watching with them.

The show featured three teams of contestants. The first to arrive was Victor, who greeted the camera and gave a brief self–introduction. “Hello, I’m Caden

He took Yana’s surname and got another first name.

Though sparing with words, Victor’s tall, statuesque frame and that aristocratic, unattainably handsome face made every camera shot a feast for the

eyes.

Viewers would never get bored just looking at his face.
