The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1269

Keanu's eyes were filled with scorn as he looked at Garren, who proudly claimed to be Mecria's Supreme Knight.

"General Hartwell," Keanu mocked, "it looks like age has caught up with you, hasn't it?"

"My Mecria Secret Intelligence Division is one of the top three intelligence agencies worldwide. Every guard here is one of Mecria's elite warriors.

"Divine Drakebane may be powerful, but in the end, he's still just a mortal man. With the threat of the dozen sniper rifles from my division, there's no way he can stand against us."

"Keanu, you idiot!" Simmond sneered, standing next to Robin. "If you haven't seen Divine Drakebane's real power, don't make such foolish statements. You're about to doom not just the Secret Intelligence Division, but Mecria itself!"

"Traitor!" Keanu shouted, his anger boiling over. He clicked the safety off his pistol. "I earned my position as Deputy Director of the Secret Intelligence Division. That says everything you need to know.

"In Mecria's special forces, my marksmanship is unparalleled. No one dares challenge my top position. At 5,000 feet, my sniper scores are unmatched!

"At this distance, even if ten Divine Drakebanes were here, I could take them all down before they even made a move," he added with a smug grin.

"Is that so?" Robin replied casually, wiping his hands with a wet wipe. "Well, if that's the case, then there's nothing more to discuss."

Simmond shook his head in disbelief. He knew Keanu, in his arrogance, had just sealed the fate of both himself and the Mecria Secret Intelligence Division.

Garren's lips twitched, but he remained silent.

Robin's gaze, devoid of emotion, settled on Keanu. "If you can't kill me, I'll destroy your family and wipe out your precious Mecria Secret Intelligence Division."

Keanu's eyelids twitched. The murderous intent radiating from Robin sent a chill down his spine. Gripping his pistol tightly, his confidence grew again.

With a weapon in hand, he didn't think even Divine Drakebane could survive a rain of bullets!

"Divine Drakebane, you're overestimating yourself!" Keanu shouted. "The whole world may fear you, but I don't! At 30 feet, I could kill you ten times over!"

Robin let out a low chuckle and tossed the wet wipe into a trash can 50 feet away. "Then let's get started."

Keanu immediately barked his order, "Kill Divine Drakebane!"

With that command, 15 sniper rifles fired in unison. In the chaos of the barrage, a blur streaked across the room.

The bulky figure of Divine Drakebane moved faster than humanly possible, cutting down the throats of 15 Secret Intelligence Division snipers in an instant.

Keanu stood frozen in the middle of the room, still poised to fire his pistol. But somehow, his weapon had vanished.

Before he could grasp what had happened, the cold muzzle of a gun was pressed against his head.

How? How did my pistol end up in Robin's hands?

And how did Robin, in such a short time, take out all 15 of his elite snipers?

"D-Divine Drakebane, don't do anything rash!" Keanu stammered, sweat pouring down his face. A wave of imminent death overwhelmed him.

"This is the Mecria Secret Intelligence Division! If you dare—"

A deafening gunshot cut him off. The bullet tore through his left leg.

"Ah!" Keanu screamed, dropping to one knee. "Divine Drakebane, y-you may kill me, but you will never escape Mecria's Secret Intelligence Division!"

Bang! Bang! Bang! Three more shots rang out, each one piercing his thighs.

Robin looked down at Keanu, who was kneeling on the floor. "Master Elijah entrusted me with the care of his granddaughter, Ms. Eira. You harmed her.

"Did you really think the consequences of provoking me would be so small?
