The Deadly Assassin Robin novel Chapter 1258

Robin leaped from the jet ski with one foot.

His dragon daggers flashed from their sheaths, slicing through the wind as they shot straight toward the mercenaries gathered on the deck of the Beast Fleet's warship.

The sea breeze of the Panacea Ocean howled with wild fury, whipping up savage waves that crashed mercilessly onto the deck.

The salty wind carried the metallic scent of blood.

In the blink of an eye, a whole squad of mercenaries on the battleship deck was reduced to a blood-soaked mess.

Lussen stared in horror at the demonic figure standing tall like a demon on the deck.

So, this is the legendary Divine Drakebane.

The storm winds still roared over the Panacea Ocean as the waves continued to thunder and slam against the hull.

Blood dripped rhythmically from the dull dagger onto the silent deck. Each drop echoed with dread.

Lussen picked up the comms device shakily and yelled, "Reporting, General Giovanni! Mr. Drakebane has boarded our command ship!"

Inside the command cabin, Giovanni—who had been waiting smugly for the report of Drakebane's death—froze in disbelief.

"What? Lussen, you pig—are you kidding me?

"No matter how strong Divine Drakebane is, he's just a man of flesh and blood! How could he possibly survive a bombardment that intense?"

Lussen cut him off, his voice low and grim. "General Giovanni, we don't have much time left. Send your family a goodbye message."

Giovanni had worked with Lussen for years.

He knew that Lussen was slow-witted, but never one to joke.

An overwhelming sense of unreality and dread crashed over him.

He never expected that the mighty Panacea Warriors Alliance Fleet would fail to take down the lone Divine Drakebane.

It has to be a dream.

The maniacs from Draconia—they'd actually survived.

How could a fully equipped assault fleet fail to eliminate them?

Snapping out of his daze, Giovanni roared, "Quick—order all the mercenaries on board to prepare for close combat with Drakebane!

"Kill Drakebane! Blow him to pieces! Blow him to hell!"

Boom!

Robin kicked open the command room door with violent force. Lussen tumbled forward and landed hard at Giovanni's feet.

"It's too late."

Before Giovanni could even draw his pistol, Robin grabbed him by the collar and flung him like a rag doll.

Giovanni's burly frame smashed into the command room wall, leaving a massive dent behind.

A smear of fresh blood stood out starkly on the metal panel.

His face was crushed and his right shoulder was shattered. The next moment, he curled on the floor in agony.

"M-Mr. Drakebane ... this ... this might all just be a misunderstanding ... " Giovanni gasped.

Robin laughed. "Well, if it's already a misunderstanding, why not just let it be?"

At that moment, four guards rushed in.

But before they could even aim their rifles, the dragon daggers had already slashed open the throats of the first two.

Robin didn't kill the other two—yet. "Drop your weapons, or you die. And not just you—your families too."

"Y-you're a monster!" Giovanni stared at Robin in horror. It was the first time he'd ever seen the legendary Divine Drakebane face-to-face. "No true hero would ever threaten someone's family—how could you—"

Robin stomped down, shattering Giovanni's thigh. "When did I ever say I was a hero? Remember this—I don't care about your rules or your morals.

"My rule is simple: you don't mess with me, I won't mess with you. But if you do ... I will kill every single one of you!"

The two remaining guards were veteran mercenaries who had ten years of experience.

They knew exactly who Drakebane was.
