Chapter 359
Except for Vincent and Jeremy, no one knew what they talked about.
Even when Lucas pressed Vincent for answers later. Vincent kept his lips sealed, because it was part of the agreement he had made with Jeremy.
According to Jeremy, this was the first rule that anyone entering St. Gabriel Reform Academy had to follow.
This only fueled Vincent’s curiosity about St. Gabriel Reform Academy, intensifying the strange feeling inside him. After all, no ordinary institution would enforce such a strict and peculiar rule.
Nobody knew what Vincent thought, but everyone was well aware that he had taken Lucas in.
Lucas was Andrew’s brother. No matter how tough Andrew announced in public, he would never really push Lucas over the edge. So, when it came to Vincent’s actions, Andrew just let them slide.
Gale and Emma acted like they didn’t know, either. There was no way they would cut Lucas off just because they were mad at him.
Lydia was the only one who completely lost it when she heard about Vincent’s “meddling”. She was so pissed that she almost wrecked her room.
She thought, ‘Vincent knows full well that Lucas was kicked out of the Bennett family for bullying me, but he still went out of his way to take him in.
‘Isn’t he supposed to love me the most? Isn’t I supposed to matter more to him than his own life?
As the male lead, he is supposed to love what I love, hate what I hate, and be willing to turn his back on the whole world for me if he has to. But what is he doing now!
Lydia was both angry and uncasy. She felt like nothing was going her way lately, like everything she used to have under control was slowly slipping out of her grasp. This made her panic.
Just then, Andrew showed up, acting all concerned about her work
He claimed he cared, but Lydia knew he was just trying to use her to trip Emily up. She felt Andrew was hypocritical.
