Wolfless, Unbroken Abandoned novel Chapter 18

Chapter 18

“Alpha Thane, do you really want such a hideous werewolf?” Preston spat, his voice thick with disdain.

Thane chuckled softly, a confident curve on his lips. “Impossible. No on

at the Vetro Club is ugly.” He glanced toward Preston with a knowing smile. “Alpha Preston, I trust your judgment–everyone here is beautiful.”

Preston’s lips twitched into a faint, cruel smile as his eyes landed on Georgia’s face. “Don’t believe me? Go wash it off.”

Georgia was about to rise when Thane’s cold voice cut through the room, “Crawl.”

Her hands clenched tightly against the cold floor. Inside, a fierce roar echoed in her mind: Hold on, Georgia. This is nothing compared to three years behind bars.

Swallowing her pride, she obediently crawled toward the bathroom in the private room. After splashing cold water on her face, she opened the door to step out.

“Pathetic werewolf,” Thane sneered, watching her move. “Who said you’re allowed to walk?”

Without a word, Georgia dropped down and resumed crawling. Her legs, weakened and impaired from her long ordeal, Atrembled painfully beneath her. Agony drained the color from her face, but she bit down hard, telling herself that dignity

meant nothing that she would endure more than any man, swallowing her suffering without a single sound.

From the staircase, Charlotte arrived, pausing as she spotted a woman standing by the private room’s door.

“Raven? What are you doing here?” Charlotte asked softly.

Raven spun, surprise flashing across her face. “Nothing.”

Initially, Charlotte had assigned Raven to serve Preston and his guests because Raven was a werewolf too. But when Derek suddenly requested Georgia instead, Raven had been pushed aside. Furious and resentful, she pressed her ear to the slightly ajar door and peeked inside.

What she saw widened her eyes and twisted her lips into a mocking smirk.

“This doesn’t concern you. Go back to the first floor and tend to the guests.

Charlotte’s sharp glance shut Raven up immediately. Begrudgingly, Raven stomped away, bitterness burning in her chest.

I’m part of the pack, she thought bitterly, but Charlotte wouldn’t stand with me. Instead, she chooses to help a rogue. The ones visiting now are from the Shadow Eclipse Pack. If my mate were among them, I wouldn’t have to slave away here.

Charlotte gently pushed open the door and froze, her breath catching at the brutal scene inside.

“Hurry! Crawl to me,” Thane commanded with a cruel smile. Then, shifting back into his human form, he looked down at Georgia.

Under Preston’s fierce gaze, she crawled toward Thane, silent and broken.

In Preston’s eyes, a violent storm brewed–a tumultuous rage, a dark shadow he could neither explain nor resist.

Georgia.

His heart burned with anger, an unnameable gloom settling over him.

Why should he feel so violently drawn to someone he despised so utterly? She was beneath him–so low and humiliated- and yet, his triumph brought no satisfaction.

“Raise your head,” Thane ordered, his voice ringing sharply in Georgia’s ears.

Slowly, mechanically, she lifted her face, her movements hollow and doll–like–obedient to a single command.

“She’s hideous!” one of Thane’s men sneered, glaring at Georgia as if she were a monster. “Alpha Thane, really–she’s disgusting.”

Georgia wasn’t ugly once. As the daughter of the Silver Stream Pack’s Alpha, her beauty was renowned across packs. But the relentless years in a werewolf prison had stolen much from her youth and glow.
