Wolfless, Unbroken Abandoned novel Chapter 96

Chapter 96

The Wynne Pack and the Silver Stream Pack had once been bound by blood and honour, their alliance older than Weston or Georgia themselves. She and Weston had grown up together in those golden years, chasing each other across the werewolf school grounds, sharing lunches, secrets, and idle dreams beneath the ancient oak behind the Alpha’s hall.

But that was before Giselle died.

Everything fractured after that. All the ties, the warmth, the safetygone in an instant. Now, Weston’s words cut deeper than any humiliation those call girls at Vetro Club could ever inflict. Their scom stung, but Weston’s scom flayed her soul

raw.

Georgia kept her gaze locked on him, refusing to let her voice tremble. She could feel Charlotte trembling beside her, shoulders shaking in silent terror. Georgia’s own hands clenched and unclenched at her sides, nails biting half–moon scars into her palms. Her throat felt like it was lined with broken glass when she forced herself to speak.

“Don’t hit her,” she whispered.

Weston raised a brow, his mouth curling into a wicked smile. He tilted his head, studying her like a spider admiring a Itrapped fly. “You want me to spare Charlotte?” he drawled softly. “Then beg me for mercy.

His voice dripped with casual cruelty. He stared at her with eyes full of disdain, and she saw in them the delighted contempt of a man who had waited years for this moment.

Charlotte’s voice cracked as she shook her head. “Georgia, don’t worry about me. That’s all he can do. He doesn’t dare do anything worse. Just let it go.” She glanced at Weston coldly, though her cheeks burned with humiliation.

But they both knew the truth. Charlotte was merely an employee of Vetro Club. Weston could slap her as he pleased, but he didn’t know who owned Vetro Club, and that ignorance kept his hand in check–he wouldn’t dare do any true harm. Not

to Charlotte, at least.

Weston’s smile vanished. He raised his hand Chapter Unlocked, Enjoy Reading! t her head snapped sideways with a sickening crack. “Try me!” he roared, eyes blazing with sudden rage.

“Weston!” Georgia’s voice tore out of her, ragged and furious, her eyes glowing scarlet with restrained violence. “This is between you and me! What the hell do you want?!”

Her chest heaved as she struggled to pull air into lungs burning with rage and grief. Charlotte had always shown her small kindnesses since the day they met. It wasn’t much in this cruel world, but it had been something real, something human.

And now Weston was beating Charlotte in front of her eyes. Georgia’s body trembled with the urge to throw herself between them, to take the blows herself.

“Tell me!” she screamed, her voice cracking. “What do you want from me, Weston? Just tell me!”

Charlotte froze. She had never heard Georgia sound like this. Georgia had always been quiet, cold, distant. Even when insulted or ignored, she merely lowered her gaze and endured. But now she was a woman ablaze with desperate rage.

Charlotte tried to speak, her words slurring with pain. “Georgia, I’m fine, really—

Before she could finish, Weston slapped her again. The sound cracked through the room like a gunshot. Charlotte’s head. slammed into the table corner with a dull, awful thud before she crumpled to the floor in front of Georgia, her face swelling purple and red.

Georgia’s vision blurred. Her world narrowed to Weston’s smirking face and Charlotte’s limp body. A scream through her throat.

“Weston!” she gasped. “I’ll do it! Il do whatever you say I’ll beg you!”

She fell forward onto her knees, her body trembling violently, but Weston’s voice snapped out like a whip. “Wait.”

He set his glass down and deliberately let it slide off the edge of the table. It hit the ground and shattered, shards skittering across the marble floor. He smiled, teeth gleaming like a wolf’s under moonlight.

“You may kneel now,” he said softly.
