Fleeing the Nightmarish Father novel Chapter 105

“My Saafia, who cannot look at another man with the same devotion, was with you. ‘In your shirt’ after ‘passing out’,”

I hissed after hitting Helder whose face was bruised with a trail of blood flowing from the corner of his mouth.

Yet, he remained shameless, leaning his head back, Helder laughed evilly.

“Dariel, let me go, you are making a wrong choice. You will regret it," He dared to threaten me mindlessly.

“Helder, my brother, tell me, since when did an unconscious person start changing her clothes herself? Do you think I wouldn’t know that you set that up?” I scoffed, rolling my eyes at his audacity to challenge me.

“If you know then why are you torturing your beloved Saafia like this?” He smirked.

“Because I want to know what you intend to do?”

“Destroy you, dearest brother,”

He snickered wickedly, evoking pure disgust from the bottom of my heart. I shouldn’t have forgiven him in the first place.

“Why? I believe I have cut all my connections with you and your family then let us live our lives in peace.” I growled, failing to understand why he would do that to us.

“Let you live in peace after what your mother did to us!?” He yelled furiously, confusing as I yelled back.

“What does she have to do with everything!?”

“She had a fucking affair with my father and I am the result of that goddamn sin!” He shouted to which I gasped loudly in incredulity.

“Wh- What..?”

“Yes! All her life, she accepted you guys as her children but neglected me. Always called me a mistake!” He growled in fury, freezing my steps to the ground with transparent apprehension.

“She left me for you and I wanted to make her regret her choice.”

My heartbeats dropped, an abrupt clenched stiff me. His words were dropping to my core like poison. Blurring my vision with tears.

“I want to make the children for whom she left me suffer that her soul in hell feels the pain of it.” He growled, losing his breaths, tears glistening his eyes while I was too stunned to react.

“Let her mistake chase her-”

Before he could continue, I hit him outrageously. A crushing sensation made me weak. It purloined my peace in a matter of heart.

“Shut up! Stop degrading my mother!”

My voice broke as I repeatedly hit him to empty the strenuous weight thrown on my delicate world.

“No matter how you react… this won’t change any fact. Me and my Father weren’t after you for naught.” He hissed, continuing

Each second was shattering my heart, surging a pain that numbed my soul. It was unendurable for me.

“SHE made us do this!” Helder yelled, pricking a tear in my eyes. It was too much for me to digest.

It had to be an agonizing lie.

“I said enough!”

Losing my senses in intense rage, I started hitting him, breathless, growling constantly at the merest thought of him being my… brother.

And I was ignorant of that fact all my life?

This has to be a nightmare.

As I was hitting him senseless, Ian came, pulling me back before I could end him right here.

“Boss, boss-”

“Fuck!” Cursing, I moved back outrageously.

Kicking the rusted chair, causing it to break while everyone in the vicinity was dead silent at my display of wrath.

I refused to believe that. There must be another reason.

While I was pacing around, scowling with fury, a few men came, throwing Sam on the ground with his hands tied and mouth covered.

“Mhm!”

Glaring at him, I placed my foot over his head. I taught him lessons over lessons but his weak mind was incapable of comprehending that hostility with me would be his grave mistake.

“What happened now, asshole? Weren’t you being too mighty because you had his hand over your head huh?” I growled, pressing my foot harder on his face, pushing him more into the ground to realize his position.

Below me.

“Any orders for us, Boss?” The guard I hired asked.

Scoffing, I kicked Sam in the stomach, releasing my rage but nothing was calming the storm inside me.

I was not myself at this point.

And I knew if Saafia was here, she would be horrified so I sent her away to not let her witness this sight of mine.

“Taking revenge on us guys for being rejected?” She asked in disbelief, falling into a daze that our mother had an affair with our Uncle and had a son with him too.

“Yeah,” I nodded, finding it too harsh to swallow.

“What… should we do?”

“Let’s check Mama’s room first.”

We locked it after her death, never touched or searched through her private things. We never thought it would be anything deep.

We were in her room, going through her things. I never entered her room as the sight of her bloody body flashed before me.

How she cut her wrist and took her own life…

I never thought she would be carrying such an enormous secret in her heart.

“Dariel, look,”

Jacey called when she found an old diary in her things along with a photograph.

“The date. It’s before her marriage. Isn’t that… Uncle Harry?”

Our eyes widened in appall when we saw she was holding onto a picture with my Uncle.

“This looks scorched too. She couldn’t bring herself to burn that completely.” I whispered sorrowfully.

I didn't know what to say, even if that was before her marriage. Why did she marry our Father and neglect Helder?

“Okay, he has a grudge with us, with Mama and wants to devastate us,” Jacey breathed out, looking up in dread.

I didn’t want to believe that we were kept in the dark all our lives.

But what did it have to do with sleeping with my woman?!

He drugged Saafia and forced her to sleep with him, that asshole, grazing my dignity.

I still won’t forgive him for that.

“Even if he hated Mama, why did he do this to Saafia?” I whispered, pulling my hair in frustration that for my mother’s sins, we were going to pay.

‘What have you done, Mama!?’
