In the dressing room, Sonia looked at the earring in her ear and smiled slyly, coming up with an idea.
“Sonia, are you really going to do this? If you get caught, you’ll be in serious trouble,” Jenny said worriedly.
Sonia gave a cunning smile. “No one will notice such a small thing. By the time they discover it, they’ll think Anastasia did it.”
“You should still be careful.“:
“Have you all lost your minds? First Aurora won’t help me, and now you want to control me too?”
Jenny smiled awkwardly. She knew Sonia was in a bad mood, and since she couldn’t comfort her, she might as well let her blow off some steam.
Ana emerged after changing into her outfit and getting a simple styling done.
Despite the simple styling, the vintage emerald bodycon dress paired with long black gloves and the company’s jewelry created an aura of elegance, as if she’d stepped out of a fashion magazine.
Everyone’s attention was drawn to Ana, their eyes glued to her.
Cassian was especially obvious about staring at Ana, his gaze following her wherever she went.
Suddenly, applause broke out.
It was the photographer clapping.
“Fantastic! This is exactly the effect I was looking for!” he exclaimed.

Ana’s every movement exuded class and sophistication. The photographer couldn’t stop clicking his camera, continuously praising her as if words cost nothing.
Sonia stood to the side, her face dark as a storm cloud.
After a while, the shoot finally ended. Ana had changed through several different looks and outfits.
The photographer had shot to his heart’s content–he hadn’t felt this inspired in ages.
He reviewed some of the photos and said, “Your shots are perfect. We barely need any retouching before they can be used.”
“Have you secretly been practicing?”
“Oh!” Ana said. “No, this is my first time doing a shoot.”
“Then you’re incredibly talented. Are you interested in working with me? Being my regular model?”
Ana quickly declined: “No thank you. I’m not really interested in this. I prefer doing design work.”
“That’s such a shame,” the photographer said regretfully.
Theo elbowed Cassian and whispered, “Dude, how can you just sit there? Someone’s trying to steal your wife!”
“Someone claimed to be a professional, but ended up squatting here for half the day without landing a single job. So professional…” Aurora said with her arms crossed, looking at Theo with disdain.
Theo clicked his tongue and looked at Aurora. “Whatever. A gentleman doesn’t fight with women.”
“You, a gentleman? That’s absolutely ridiculous!”
“Alright, if you two want to fight, take it somewhere else,” Cassian said, pointing to his ears. They were ringing now, and it was really annoying.
