Chapter 8
Ben knelt in front of me in public and apologized, calling me his wife.
This scene simply dazzled the eyes of those parents.
Everyone at the scene was dumbfounded.
Diana was completely dumbfounded and couldn’t believe it at all.
“What happened?”
“Diana, why did Mr. Hansen. call this mistress his wife?”
“What exactly was their relationship?”
The parents snapped back to reality and began bombarding Diana with soul-searching questions.
Diana’s face turned pale, clearly having suffered a great blow.
She paused for a while before suddenly coming to her senses and hysterically interrogating Ben, “Ben, what on earth is going on? Why did you call this cheap mistress your wife?”
“Didn’t you tell me that marriage was just a formality, and asked me not to rush, saying that once you were done with your
busy schedule, you would organize the grandest wedding ever for me?”
“Now our children are all grown up, and yet you called someone else your wife right in front of me?”
Diana’s emotions completely spiraled out of control, and she simply couldn’t accept this fact.
“You said that I was the only one in your heart, didn’t you? How could you deceive me? Speak up!”
Diana grew more and more excited, grabbing Ben’s hand and shaking it continuously.
Ben angrily pushed Diana away and shouted, “Shut up right now!”
“Do you know that you were destroying my life?”
Diana stumbled as Ben dumped her, incredulously staring at the man in front of her who seemed like a stranger.
She never imagined in her wildest dreams that the man she loved wholeheartedly would have such a side.
Ben didn’t have the mind to consider Diana’s feelings at that time, he was only sweating for himself.
He was still kneeling on the ground, sincerely speaking to me, “Wife, I know I was wrong, please forgive me this time.”
Ben had completely lost his dignity, his tone filled with humble pleas.
I looked at him expressionlessly and said disappointedly, “You should know that it was because of my father’s infidelity and betrayal that my mother became depressed and committed suicide.”
“The thing I hated the most in my life was emotional betrayal.”

“Before we got married, you also promised me that you would love only me until death do us part. But what happened in
the end?”
I pointed at Diana and continued, “You were saying you love me while at the same time having another family outside?”
No wonder you used to show up so coincidentally to save me at the bar before, and afterward you told me not to hold those drunkards responsible, saying they were just momentarily confused.
No wonder I brought you home, you didn’t show any shock when you found out my true identity.
“Now that I think about it, you must have had your eyes on me for a long time, haven’t you?”

“You had long known about my family situation, so you tried every means to catch my attention, using me as a steppingstone on your path to success, while using my money to support your mistress?”
“Ben, you hid well!”
