Chapter 20
Zackary was left speechless after being criticized.
The person in front had a cold look in their eyes.
Unlike before, she always looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes.
Abroad, he always thought that Arabella was stubborn and unwilling to compromise.
I didn’t expect that when she returned to her home country, she became even tougher.
Even when facing Gina and Rosa, Arabella remained unfazed.
Zackary found out on Arabella’s first day at work that Gina was also working at the same branch.
I wanted to send the person away directly, out of sight, out of mind.
But I also wanted to see Arabella’s reaction, to see if it was really as she said, no longer struggling.
Arabella was not just no longer trapped; she was already completely reborn.
“Mr. Jefferson had no other matters, so we left first.”
Seeing that the two were about to leave, Zackary hurriedly spoke up, “I haven’t seen Daisy in a long time…”
In the past, Daisy always followed him, perhaps it was a breakthrough.
She was so eager for his approval; she couldn’t have changed so much in just two years.
Daisy looked up at him and said, “Mr. Jefferson, you have seen now, my mom and I have to go find Ryan. Goodbye.”
Just as with my mother, there was a similar sense of calm detachment.
Zackary felt hurt.
“Daisy, you could call me dad.”
No matter what, he was still her biological father.
This used to be Daisy’s biggest wish.
Now readily available, but no longer on her bucket list.
Daisy answered earnestly, “My first name is Reid, only my mother.”
Zackary felt a dull pain in his chest.
It is hard to imagine how much damage he caused to them.
Once surrounded by his wife and daughter, he suddenly lost them overnight and could never find them again.
Zackary, feeling disappointed, compromised, “Well, you can also call me Zackary, just like Ryan.”

A very simple and polite way of addressing someone.
But Daisy still shook her head, “Ryan had a good relationship with his mother.”
Implicitly, Zackary was unworthy.
The contrast between before and after was too great, he went from the clouds and landed directly into the mud.
People were stunned.
Arabella also took Daisy away.
Zackary stood alone by the roadside, awakened by the sound of his phone alarm.
“Daisy’s birthday is in two days, please prepare as soon as possible, master!”
He snapped back to reality, his gaze gradually sharpening with determination.
There was still a chance.
It was Daisy’s birthday.
Arabella took a day off and dressed up in matching outfits with her daughter.
“Mom, hurry up, Ryan’s car was parked outside!”
Early in the morning, Daisy was already perched by the window, eagerly waiting. At that moment, she couldn’t wait any longer and slipped off the sofa, with a small backpack on her back.
Arabella smiled and led her out of the door.
Ryan just got out of the car outside the door, wearing clothes of the same color as theirs.
Arabella did not expose this little trick.
“Just in time, let’s go, little princess!”
Before they got in the car, another car slowly stopped in front of the three people.
The car window rolled down and Zackary stuck his head out, saying, “Daisy, I have prepared a birthday gift for you.”
Facing directly towards him, it was impossible for him not to have seen Ryan.
Arabella was a little annoyed by Zackary’s unawareness.
I stared at the necklace I had lost on her neck, my voice cold, “Second-hand goods, it suits you, keep it for yourself.”
Without giving Zackary any time to respond, he opened the door and got into the car in one breath.
Ryan smiled and invited the person with an unpleasant expression, “If you have nothing to do, would you like to join me?”

So two cars stopped one after another in front of the largest sports arena in the city.
Arabella and Daisy were busy welcoming the guests.
And Zackary was gazing absentmindedly at the heart of love at the entrance.
