Almost a Wife Never His Love novel Chapter 46

Chapter 12

Zackary looked up when he heard the sound.

It has been less than a month, but it feels like I haven’t seen you in a century.

She became more radiant.

In the past, people in the company used to wear appropriate and ordinary professional attire, with long hair tied up at the

back of their heads, and light and neat makeup.

Now without any makeup, Bikini showcases her great figure for all to see.

Bikini?

Zackary immediately stood up and took off his coat, pretending to drape it over her shoulders.

“Why did you wear it this outside?”

Arabella waved his hand away and her furrowed brow remained locked.

“It had nothing to do with you.”

“How is it irrelevant? You were my wife.”

“I have already sent you the divorce agreement. If you are sensible, you will sign it. We owe each other nothing.”

Zackary did not accept this statement, so he chose to ignore it.

Stubbornly, he reached out to grab her hand, saying, “Come back with me first, I will apologize and explain.”

Arabella avoided her hand, but her body remained still.

Her heart had already died and could not die any further.

The belated awakening was nothing but the epitaph of their marriage.

“Zackary, did Gina reject you? Or did the company not accept your marital blemish?”

Arabella was straightforward.

She grew tired of being moved by his every action and glance.

I hated myself for always foolishly wanting to believe in him again.

She believed him for the first time and fell into the pit of marriage, trapped for six years.

The second time I trusted him; I almost lost my child.

Three strikes and you’re out.

She would not give him a third chance to hurt herself.

Zackary was empty-handed and momentarily lost in thought.

They never argued, not even had a proper conversation.

Arabella, who left no gaps, didn’t know how to break through.

He always walked ahead on his own, while she chased after his back.

“Arabella, I know you were angry, and of course, you had every reason to be angry, but at least you should consider Daisy.”

If the adults couldn’t persuade, they would bring in the children.

Shameless.

“Daisy was still so young and needed her father’s company.”

Much pomp and circumstance.

Be considerate of others’ feelings.

Arabella burst into laughter in anger and said, “Now you realize the need for father’s company?”

“Where were you when Daisy was sick? Where were you when her school had a party?”

The school party invited parents to attend.

Arabella did not meet Rosa’s parents; she only saw a hurried departure of someone who looked very much like Zackary.

At that time, she thought she had made a mistake, but it turned out that it was wrong from the beginning.

“Where were you when she was crying and calling out for you, Daddy?”

“Daisy was not your child.”

“Daisy was just the child of your housekeeper.”

A few years ago, that sentence, like a brand, was deeply imprinted on her chest, constantly reminding her.

Zackary was cruel and heartless.

Faced with her tearful accusations, Zackary found himself unable to utter a single word of rebuttal.

Every word and sentence that came out of her mouth was a test of his conscience.

“Arabella, I knew I was wrong.”

“People make mistakes sometimes, give me a chance.”

Arabella chuckled, “One chance? Daisy gave you three chances, did it work?”

The child had just finished speaking, and his eyes lit up as he looked towards the entrance, happily waving his hand.
