Helen hugged Sienna tightly, feeling a wave of empathy wash over her. "It's perfectly okay to feel differently, Nana. As long as those feelings are genuine, they don't have to match anyone else's."
"So, Mommy, is it alright if I don't like Daddy that much?" Sienna asked innocently.
"Nana, I think you'll come to like him," Helen replied with a soft sigh.
For seven years, life back home had been tumultuous, with Chandler facing the challenges alone. Without his protection, they could never have enjoyed the peaceful life they had abroad.
Given that, Chandler had earned the right to their children's love and respect. Helen was confident that once Sienna met him, any lingering doubts would disappear.

After a grueling ten-hour journey, Lincoln finally arrived in Glendale.
Once he parted ways with the beautiful woman he had traveled with, he used his height to blend into the crowd, quietly observing the scene at the airport's main concourse exit.
As Lincoln had anticipated, a few men in the crowd were displaying suspicious behavior. To be cautious, he decided to alter his course and head toward the North Concourse.
Before long, he reached the northern exit, where the crowd was sparse and there was no line for cabs—it felt almost like it had been set up just for him.
Lincoln scanned the vacant area and confidently approached the curb. Just as he was about to hail a cab, a casual voice called out from behind him.
"Hey there, kid. Do you need a ride?"
Lincoln turned to see a man in a gray suit. The man's captivating eyes were hard to miss, but the mischievous glimmer in them put Lincoln on high alert.
Taylor flashed a grin and pulled out a set of car keys, pressing the button a couple of times. The red Jeep parked nearby blinked its lights briefly before settling back to normal.
After mentally giving himself a pep talk, he donned a sweet and innocent smile. "Alright then. But, sir, you have to give me a really good discount."
"Deal!" Taylor exclaimed, patting his chest. "I'll give you a 120% discount—how's that for generosity?"
"Wow, sir, you're so generous!" Lincoln kept his composure, playing the fool.
"You crooked businessman! Just wait and see how I deal with you!" he thought to himself.
"You sure know how to sweet-talk a person," Taylor said with a chuckle. "Alright, get in!"
With that, Lincoln opened the back door and climbed inside.
