Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1585

In the airport terminal, Seymour helped Helen take a seat before heading to the restroom.

As soon as he stepped inside, he was seized by the throat and shoved into one of the stalls. By the time he realized what was happening, the door had slammed shut.

Chandler's imposing figure loomed over him, his sharp features fixed in an intense gaze. He resembled a predator stalking its prey, sending a chill down Seymour's spine.

Seymour swallowed hard, striving to remain calm. "Mr. Newton, w-what is this about?"

"If anything goes wrong during the delivery, I need you to use your identity as her husband to protect her. Do you understand?" Chandler's voice was cold, radiating an intimidating air.

Feeling an involuntary urge to comply, Seymour nodded. "Even without you saying it, I understand what's at stake."

"But you don't know her," Chandler countered, his tone steady.

"Who? Ms. Spencer?" Seymour asked, suddenly catching on to Chandler's implication.

It was true—women were emotional beings, and mothers especially were capable of making the greatest sacrifices for their children.

Chandler released him and said firmly, "Under no circumstances can she be harmed. If anything happens, let her blame me. You won't be implicated."

"Don't worry. My life belongs to Ms. Spencer. Even if she wanted me dead, I would still protect her first," Seymour replied, his conviction unwavering.

Moments later, he returned to the terminal, where the boarding announcement echoed all around him. He rushed to assist Helen as they approached the gate.

Standing at the boarding area, Helen turned back reluctantly, her gaze scanning the terminal. When her eyes met Chandler's, he removed his sunglasses and held her gaze from a distance.

Their unspoken longing and unease about the future were palpable, conveyed silently through their shared gaze. As they looked at each other, their expressions solidified into determination.

"He's kept an impressive record of marrying and divorcing once a year, most recently tying the knot with six women who all bear a striking resemblance to Helen Spencer.

"Just recently, he was spotted getting cozy with a mysterious woman, who reportedly has a son and a daughter. But that doesn't seem to faze Chandler at all. Insiders say they're planning to get a marriage certificate soon!

"Our editor can't help but note: 'Close, but not quite! While Chandler's new partners may look like his lost love, they're not her.' It seems our heartthrob has an endless penchant for collecting beautiful women!"

In Ameridia, Helen sat at her computer desk, wearing a silk nightgown. She opened an anonymous email with the subject line, "Honey, it's time to come back."

Though the message was brief and unsigned, Helen knew exactly who it was from.

Just then, a housekeeper burst in. "Ma'am, there's a problem! Mr. Lincoln has run away from home!"
