Chandler raised an eyebrow and asked, "What are you up to?"
"Who is it?" Katie came out to see what was going on.
Upon seeing the target, Abigail pushed past Chandler and squeezed in. "Hello, Ms. Terzian. Considering you just fell into the cold pool, our hotel has specially prepared a herbal hot towel for you.
"Wipe your face with it, and you'll feel better." Abigail smiled as she presented the towel with both hands.
"Okay." Katie took the hot towel to wipe her face without any hesitation. She had spent a fortune on waterproof makeup for today's performance, so she wasn't worried about the makeup coming off.
Speaking of waterproof makeup, she couldn't help praising herself secretly for being smart. Without the preparation, her makeup would have been ruined after falling into the pool, and she would look as ugly as a monster.
Not to mention Chandler, even the police might not want to face her. The more she thought about it, the happier she became.
Plus, the towel felt comfortable and breathable on her face, greatly relieving the stuffiness of the waterproof makeup. She grew addicted to it and grabbed another towel to double the effect.
While she was wiping her face, Abigail suddenly burst into laughter. She laughed so hard that she bent over, holding her stomach. "This is too ugly."
As she laughed, she spoke into the earpiece microphone on her collar, "Hurry in and see it."
Just then, Taylor instantly walked in through the door and glanced at Katie's face for a second before bursting into laughter. But he quickly restrained himself, maintaining his gentlemanly demeanor.
Abigail, however, was unable to hold it in and collapsed onto the couch, laughing uncontrollably.
Katie was baffled by her reaction and irritably scolded, "What's wrong with you guys? Is this how you treat your guests? I'm going to file a complaint against you for how you served me."
Abigail instantly stopped laughing upon hearing that. She sat up straight and met her gaze expressionlessly. "Go ahead and complain. Get everyone here, and let them see how scary you look now."
"Even if I'm not as multi-talented as her, I have a genuine heart that loves him. Just for that, Helen can't compare to me."
Abigail's expression changed repeatedly, alternating between irritated and pale. She looked extremely awful as she warned maliciously, "I dare you to say that again."
Katie met Abigail's eyes and felt a chill run down her back. She instinctively shrank her neck and lowered her voice. "I'm just telling the truth. There are other women around Chandler as well; why do you target me?"
"Just because you like to spread rumors and create trouble, you don't deserve to be compared to Helly." Abigail gave a subtle reason and didn't directly relate it to "Kaylee".
"You're talking nonsense. I'm not that kind of person." Katie went over to Chandler to complain, "Mr. Newton, you know that I'm easily deceived.
"I've always been the one getting bullied; how could I possibly bully others? This woman is trying to ruin my reputation on purpose. You must not believe anything she says."
