Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1545

Ursula felt a surge of bitterness at the tip of her nose and silently stared at him for a few seconds. Just before her tears flowed, she turned and ran away.

Adrian stood there in a daze. The pain and numbness from the slap on his face reminded him that everything that had just happened was not a dream.

He let out a weary sigh and was about to turn back when he saw the clutch bag Ursula had dropped on the floor. He bent down to pick up the clutch bag and stared at it for a while before opening it.

When he saw a familiar pocket watch lying inside, his expression instantly became complicated. He reached in to take out the pocket watch and opened it.

The photo inside the lid was actually the only photo of Ursula and him from high school. Holding the pocket watch, Adrian fell into a long trance. What had actually gone wrong?

In the lounge, Chandler handed a new set of outfits to Katie. "Ms. Terzian, you may change inside. I'll keep watch for you here."

"Okay." Katie took the clothes and carefully walked toward the inner room, glancing back as she went.

When she reached the door, Chandler was already sitting on the couch. From his position, he could see into the inner room by tilting his head slightly to the left—if the door was opened.

Katie indeed left the door open. Not only that, she deliberately stood close to the door and positioned herself to be in Chandler's line of sight when he turned around. Then, she slowly removed her clothes.

At this moment, someone knocked on the door. Chandler took a look at the door and was about to get up to open it. But then he remembered that there was still someone inside, so he asked, "Ms. Terzian, are you done changing?"

"I'm done," Katie responded weakly.

Only then did Chandler get up again and go over to open the door. Once the door was opened, he saw Abigail in a server's uniform, holding a stack of towels.

"Hello, sir. This is room service," Abigail greeted professionally like a server and then straightened up her body. She even winked at Chandler.
