Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1521

As Abraham observed the scene, his face drained of color. This reckless woman was tarnishing the entire Terzian family's reputation.

"Darling, should we intervene?" Diana asked, worried about the impact on Katie's standing.

"Intervene? She got herself into this mess. Let her deal with it!"

Eager to avoid the drama, Abraham shot a glare at "Kaylee" before retreating to a corner.

Meanwhile, frustration simmered within Helen. When Kaylee was alive, it often seemed like she got lost in romantic fantasies.

"Grandpa," Helen said, hesitantly looking to Claude for support. "Can you please do something?"

"I'm willing to help, but what if you end up behaving like you did last time?" Claude replied, feigning hesitation.

"I promise it won't happen again," Helen insisted.

She could confront Jason and deny his accusations herself, but the rumors about Kaylee and Claude's rift were likely well-known. Only Claude could help her navigate the situation and minimize the fallout.

"Hmph!" Claude scoffed, attempting to maintain his pride. "Your promises aren't worth much!"

Yet, despite his words, he stepped forward, instantly adopting an air of authority.

"Ladies and gentlemen, as I celebrate my 70th birthday today, I can hardly believe a random individual would resort to using a fabricated audio recording to slander my granddaughter.

"While my social circle may be small, I can assure you that everyone here is a respected figure in our industry. So let me ask: which young man present wouldn't be a better match for my granddaughter than this one, who tries to tarnish her reputation with nothing but baseless accusations?

"What he's doing is treating my cherished granddaughter, my entire family, and all of you as fools. Isn't that utterly absurd?"

With his sharp wit, Claude effortlessly turned Jason into a laughingstock.

"Hahaha! Do you even know who you're trying to attach yourself to? If you think you can ride my grand-niece's coattails, you'd better take a good look in the mirror and assess whether you even measure up!"

With Claude backing them, they felt empowered to act decisively. After they left, the party gradually returned to a calm atmosphere.

Jenson shook his head in disbelief. "This guy is way too full of himself. Ms. Haywell would pick me over him any day."

"It's Ms. Terzian," Chandler replied coolly. "Thanks to Mr. Haywell Senior's protection, she can steer clear of these situations. It's not something a woman can easily handle alone."

"Why do I feel like Mr. Haywell Senior is just trying to play the hero?" Jenson said, his usual bluntness shining through.

Chandler paused, clearly uninterested in continuing the discussion. "You can leave now."

"Where to? We haven't even had dinner yet!" Jenson protested, his stomach growling.

"Go look into Jason's background," Chandler instructed.
