Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1506

"Okay!" Jenson exclaimed, throwing an arm around Cody's shoulders. "Let's hit the shops—your uncle's got it covered!"

"You're not my uncle yet!" Cody shot back.

"It's just a matter of time," Jenson teased.

"Gross!"

The evening soon arrived. As Helen walked through the door, she spotted Abraham sitting stiffly on the sofa, clearly having waited for her for a while.

The moment he heard her footsteps, he turned to face her.

Unlike his usual confrontational demeanor, his voice held an almost fatherly tone. "You're back early. Have you had dinner? Would you like me to ask the housekeeper to warm up some food for you?"

"No thanks," Helen replied coldly, not falling for his act. She quickened her pace toward the staircase.

"Kaylee," Abraham called out, unable to maintain the pretense any longer. "I'm trying to have a civil conversation here. Don't push your luck."

Helen stopped in her tracks, crossing her arms defiantly. "So, what wise words do you have for me today?"

The Terzians seemed unable to go a single day without stirring up drama.

Abraham sighed, clearly not wanting to escalate the situation. With a gentle tone, he continued, "I wanted to discuss your wedding plans with you."

With that, she turned and began ascending the stairs.

"Stop right there!" Abraham shouted, his frustration boiling over.

Helen remained unfazed, her steps calm and determined.

"Fine! So you think you've sprouted some wings, huh? I've said all I can, but you won't listen. Maybe it's time you packed your things and got out of this house! I don't want to deal with reporters showing up later and having to clean up your mess!"

At his words, Helen paused, her fingers lightly tapping on the stair railing. After a moment, she turned back, a smile curving her lips as she looked down at him. "You want to get rid of me just to take over my mom's inheritance, don't you?

"Too bad, dear father; I've already done my research. The deed to this house is in my name. So the real question isn't whether you can kick me out but how far you're willing to push me. If you go too far, I might just end up throwing you, your wife, and your daughter out instead!"
