Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1348

"Ms. Guyton, aren't you going to eat anymore?" Bentley also got up anxiously.

"Yes, I don't have much appetite as I'm on a diet lately. Besides, my best friend just had a breakup, and I need to be there with her. It's very urgent, so I can't stay any longer."

Ashley said while hurriedly heading out, "You don't have to see me off, Mr. Spade."

She didn't even give him the chance to express what he wanted to say, and he could only watch her leave.

He sighed and turned around, only to realize that the meticulously prepared flowers and bag were left behind.

He slumped onto a chair and cried, "Dad, are you reliable or not? Didn't you say that it's a sure thing? Why didn't she take any of them?"

Ashley and Helen arrived at Celebrity Hotel consecutively. Ashley watched as Helen walked into the lift, which eventually stopped at the top floor, and later found out that Helen was there to meet Otto.

Recalling the information from the previous investigation on Helen, Ashley did something on her phone before promptly leaving the hotel.

At the same time, Priscilla's phone lit up, and a message without any remarks popped out, "A friendly reminder that your famous daughter-in-law, Helen Spencer, is meeting her rumored boyfriend at the presidential suite of Celebrity Hotel now."

Priscilla, who had a facial mask on, stomped with rage. "Helen is such a troublemaker."

"What now?" Louis asked helplessly.

"Look at this." Priscilla shoved her phone into Louis' arms, berating, "I've always said that Helen is a troublemaker, yet your son keeps defending her. Now our family's reputation is in shambles."

Louis glanced briefly at it and asked skeptically, "It's strange; who would have your personal number?"

In the hotel, Helen stood in front of a luxurious suite and knocked twice on the door. The door was opened from inside a moment later, and Otto appeared at the door.

"I knew you would come," Otto said lightly. His outfit was quite different from before—a white shirt and white pants; even the disposable slippers he was wearing were white. He looked clean and fresh.

Helen walked straight in without saying a word and sat on the couch. After closing the door, Otto followed her inside and stood behind a nearby sofa.

With one standing and another sitting, the two people were neither near nor far from each other. The room was very quiet, as if they could hear each other's racing heartbeat.

The atmosphere was tense and suffocating.

In the end, it was Helen who broke the silence first.
