Helen stared expressionlessly at the coffee table in front of her and got straight to the point coldly and calmly. "Tell me, who are you? Why did you approach me? What's your purpose?"
"There's something I have to tell you first." Otto avoided her question. "Seymour is missing."
"You know Seymour?" Helen looked over alertly and then nodded as if she had realized something. "I should've figured it out earlier. He was the one who made Graham's mask, right?"
"Yes," Otto admitted it frankly and got back to the story. "But I didn't use Seymour to monitor you. My relationship with him is the same as yours—we're his clients."
"Is it the same?" Helen scoffed sarcastically, "I don't think it's the same. At least, I'm not capable of knowing the specific information of Seymour's other clients."
Otto couldn't help but frown. This was what he worried about the most—Helen may seem indifferent, but her words were full of sarcasm.
But now the situation was set in motion, and there was no turning back. If this matter wasn't dealt with today, it was bound to lead to even greater trouble.
After mentally preparing himself, Otto met Helen's sharp gaze and lifted his hand to reach for the switch of the mask.
The moment Helen saw his actions, she recalled her first experience of trying on a mask. So, was this Otto also a fake? Was he going to trick her twice with the same tactic?
A wave of rage surged within her as she got up to leave. Just then, Otto removed the mask and turned into Chandler.
Helen was stunned as she stared at the familiar face, her mind going blank.
She was completely puzzled—who was real, and who was fake? Or could it be that Chandler never existed?
Chandler saw through her thoughts and removed her hands. "Wait a minute."
He then walked toward the coffee table and picked up a fruit knife, making a cut on his face.
As the tip of the blade passed by, the skin split open, scarlet blood oozed out of it. The blood quickly gathered into a drop and slid down his cheek.
"Just as you see, I'm Chandler Newton whom you know."
